Walking is probably making you retain or gain weight. Its not an ideal exercise for someone who is in relatively good shape to lose weight. The exception to that rule is power walking. If you knock out all soda that is a huge step. Weight will start falling off. Fruits are fine and chocolate is okay in moderation. I would focus on drinking water only for a couple weeks. Then when you get an unsweet tea it will taste like heaven. You want to do something that you can stick to forever.

Hot..Although it is proven that taking cold showers increases your metabolism. Your body has to burn calories in order to bring your body temperature up. I go as hot as I can then finish with cold.

I advise you not to weigh in daily. People's weight fluctuate for a variety of reasons from day to day. Stick to the program you are doing and weigh once or twice a week. You will find that not stressing about the scale and just following your program is much easier and the weight will fall off.

Seems like you are going through sugar withdrawals. The reaction you are having is normal. I suggest taking an Aleve and drinking a few ounces of Gatorade and plenty of water. After a few days you should be good to go.

I was told that if you take an Aleve and drink a few ounces of Gatorade your symptoms will improve. Within a week or two you will be feeling fine.
