  • I found this site - it calculates height percentile by country. For me in Canada, at 6'1" - 1 in 1733 people would be taller then me. When I switched it to the Netherlands, it said 1 in 99. It is a very interesting site! https://tall.life/height-percentile-calculator-age-country/
  • I'm thinking of a new hair colour - I've always wanted to try dark purple but haven't been brave enough (I tend to regret big decisions). Or a tattoo. Or maybe a trip to Europe. Lots of ideas! :)
  • Amazing job! How long did it take you? You look super healthy and toned. Awesome; very inspiring!
  • I track it as circuit training. I don't know if that is right though!
  • I have a sunlamp (10 000 lux) and also a Philips wake up lamp. Both are very helpful. Of the two, I find the most difference with the wake-up lamp. It simulates a sunrise so it is bright in your room before your alarm goes off. Most days I wake up a few minutes before my alarm because of the brightness in my room. I have…
  • I'm 6'1" - a tad bit taller then many gals! It can be frustrating at times - I'd love to be a bit shorter - like 5'10'! We can work on losing weight but we can't lose height :).
  • Hi, I have sent a request to join this group (if it isn't too late!). It sounds like a very encouraging community. I would love to be part of a support group of women working together towards healthy lifestyles!
  • I have to start over again and I am so annoyed at myself. I lost close to 45 pounds two years ago only to regain it- I can - and can't - believe it. I can't believe it because I felt so great about myself and had so much confidence when I was lighter. Why did I allow myself to lose that healthy lifestyle? I can believe it…
  • That's awesome!!! Great job - you had patience and perseverance :). It is motivating for all of us!
  • I've also tried to join but the link doesn't work for me :(
  • Lots of teachers here  . I'm a teacher too - junior high science and math. I've been working on becoming healthier for a while now. Last year, I lost 45 pounds through logging my food and exercise - but I gained back 20 when school started. EEK! I'm still down 40 from my heaviest weight - but this year I want to…
  • I am tall (6'1") and have been losing about 1 - 1.5 pounds a week eating about 1850 calories. I go to a bootcamp 3- 4 times a week for about an hour each time, and eat back about half of those calories, so some days I eat about 2100. I'm sure as my weight decreases I'll have less to work with, but right now I'm pretty…
  • I am 6'1". I started at 243 (my heaviest was 260's) and made my first goal to be under 200. I am almost there (CW is 201)!! I think I'll now work at 10 pounds at a time and see what what my body tells me. I am thinking maybe 175? I still have a lot that I can lose! Currently almost into size 16/17 (brands are all cut so…
  • Amazing success - and very motivating to read. Great job!
  • Feel free to add me! I am 6'1". Heaviest weight was in the 260's. After some bumps along the road, I am now at 207. Not sure what I'll set my goal weight to be - maybe 175? I would love to have some taller friends!!!
  • I would appreciate all your support too. I am in the process of losing - down 30 pounds, need to lose at least 25 more to get into healthy BMI zone. I am worried about backsliding (eek!). Would love to have supporting friends - I find it very motivating to see when others have success :).
  • Congrats on an awesome job! I am hoping to get there too .... Cannot wait to see that number :). Well done!!!
  • And anyone who reads my post - feel free to add me . . . I appreciate all your support!
  • I hear you - I gained back close to 30 pounds after losing 50 :(. It is so easy to fall back in to old habits. I have about 65 pounds to lose in order to get back into a healthy BMI. I will send you a friend request. Good luck - we can do it!!!
  • I'd like to add both of you - and anyone who reads this afterwards, feel free to add me! I'd love to be friends with others who are working on their health - so we can motivate each other. I have about 60 to lose - to begin with - that will put me in a healthy BMI :)
  • I am just starting out and looking for some motivated friends too. I am going to send you a friend request. I am hoping to lose about 65 to start - see where it goes from there!
  • I just started a week ago (for the 3rd time). Managed to lose close to 50 pounds the first time but I gained a lot of it back. I need to stay motivated for life! Feel free to add me - I would love to have some friends! We can encourage each other out.
