That's helpful to know though, thank you! Guess I'll try what I can and hope for the best.

Classism. "Affluenza" as they say.

Did you do things like squats and lunges or is that a no go?

Breakfast - mason jar muesli with chopped pear Lunch - Thai chicken and veg wraps with grapes Snack 1 - Mango kale protein smoothie Snack 2 - Nuts, cheese and deli meat.

Oh jeez, two years????? I have no idea what to do with that information!

Are you eating enough? Are you weighing your food, using measuring cups/spoons or eyeballing it? Height, weight, general activity in a day other than exercise, age, weight?
-
So it's woo. Got it. Either way, again, my body is sensitive to sugar free products. Therefore, I cut em out. Makes me feel good.
-
What is your calorie goal like? Are you eating enough during the day?
-
I used to have the occasional Diet Coke or Coke Zero. Chewed a lot of sugar free gum. Choose sugar free syrups or packets in my coffee. I gave up sugar free stuff the day I started this. I noticed my blood sugar has regulated. I hardly ever get hungry. I used to be ravenous between meals and I couldn't figure out why, as I…

With all of that activity, 1200 is too little for you. If your TDEE is over 1700, your BMR must be above 1200 calories and you shouldn't eat below your TDEE. Tighten up your logging. Eat more.
-
The fact that you didn't measure your milk in your tea before and only "eyeballed" it says that you need to tighten up your logging. Invest in a food scale. Weigh all of your food. Have you calculated your BMR/TDEE? Height, weight, age, average activity level, exercise?

I know that putting your food into little containers isn't a necessity for losing weight or seeing proper portion sizes, but I bought two sets of the containers from a site that offered knock offs and *cough* found the workouts online. I've been using the program for two weeks, though certainly not as strictly as they…

I second this!

It's a marathon, not a race. It takes time and patience to see a change. One bad day is not a failure. You can't let it derail you. Your overall progress will shine through. There's always a margin for error anyway. Eat whatever you want, just smaller portions. I prefer to look at the 80/20 approach. 80% whole food, 20%…

I eat out ALL THE TIME. I had a cheeseburger and sundae at Dairy Queen the day before weigh in this week and I still lost my goal of a pound. It's all about 80/20 for me personally. 80% whole food, 20% whatever you like food. I measure/weigh my breakfast, lunch, and snacks. For dinner, I try to cook most of my meals. I…

Not a nurse, just office staff for a group of surgeons. But I would love to support anyone in the medical field!
-
Didn't see THAT coming!
-
Best: my current job working as a floater/assistant for a group of colorectal surgeons. Worst: Steak N Shake. Quit after a week. Most Unusual: Working as a referee at an outdoor laser tag field.

Protein. Needs more protein. And fat!
-
This as hell.
-
Open. I welcome critiquing of my food. I use the 80/20 method and if that's too much for people to handle, they can buzz off.

It's sick. A lot of contestants end up worse off than when they went in mentally. Eating disorders, body dysmorphia, knowing the public is watching and waiting for the weight to come back...I've read the horror stories of the behind-the-scenes. You can't talk to your family. You can't be alone in your room. You don't drink…

Knowing I need to get up and work out. My brain be like:

Depends on the method. With MFP, it's giving you an estimated calorie amount closest to your BMR+ daily activity with a deficit factored in already. Your BMR (basal metabolic rate) is the amount you eat to keep just your vital organs functioning. Your daily activity is asked for after your account creation (i.e. Sedentary,…

Doesn't it take someone typically about 20 minutes to process a feeling of being "full?" I can do a lot of damage in 20 minutes and become over full. That's a slow switch.
-
When I buy a rotisserie chicken, I bring it home and eat all of the chicken skin right off before I shred it! Not this week. I put it in the fridge first thing so it gets all goopy and undesirable.

Hey there, welcome to MFP! Feel free to add me!

Feel free!
