As a part of the program, there is a weekly strength training program component. The workout is just about 4 minutes long and is to be performed twice. It can be found for free here. It was easy on the one hand and left me winded on the other hand. The odd thing is that my left hip made a popping sound every time I did the…

Yesterday I WAY overdid it on chips and ice cream. After fessing up on my MFP wall, I decided to let it roll of my back and do my run earlier than normal today to start my day with a win. The run went great, I was nice and sweaty but not overtired and I am excited to add more time next week.

Fitting into size 12 jeans!!! (started out in size 22 a year ago). So surreal!

Love it @lorimill1973 - hopefully, I will say the same thing a few weeks from now. :) Week 1 - Run 2 Yesterday was my second run. My nine-year-old was home from school and she got REALLY into helping me. She got water, a cold washcloth, and a paper to fan me off. It was quite funny - as I was only doing 30-second…

Week 1 - Day 1 in the books My treadmill came and after lugging it half a block BY MYSELF, a kind stranger helped me move it the rest of the way into the house. Ater getting it all setup, I just couldn't wait to do my first workout. It wasn't too hard and it felt so good to move until I sweat. I wanted to do more or go…

I stepped on the scale WITH my 9-year-old today and we TOGETHER weighed less than I did one year ago. :)

I tend to do a lot of photos, journaling, and sharing. It's hugely motivational to me to have my successes recognized by others (so that I can internalize the successes myself). So I do a lot of updating here and on a Facebook group, I am in - at every 10 pounds and at personal milestones that I have hit along the way. I…

I started tracking at the end of February and continued throughout all this quarantine craziness. I am coming up on one year of tracking and losing. I am currently down 75 pounds.

A huge dinner with lots of veggies and chicken which filled me up and fit within my calorie goals for the day.

I love how many of us introverts know our Meyers Brigs personality type! :) INFJ here. Feel free to add me. I love having friends on here.

FEEL free to add me, I am on MFP daily - it keeps me focused. More about me: When turned 40 years old last year, I took a long look at my life. I realized I felt tired and was being limited in activities I could do because of my weight. I LOVE traveling with my kiddo and those seats were feeling pretty squishy. And I…

Yesterday I was shopping in a store I was unfamiliar with. While trying to figure out where I was, I was approached by a sales person who asked what I needed. I let her know I needed a swimsuit, and they were on track in front of me. She said, “Well, this is plus sizes, and I’m assuming you’re under a size 18.” Sure…

Awesome I started at the same place in about halfway to that final goal. Thanks for sharing it’s great to see before and after’s that are similar to your own hopeful before and after’s.

Still trucking! 272 to 198. I think the biggest change for me has been going from a two XL to a large and from 22 pants to a 14. I literally grab the wrong size when I’m shopping all the time. But the upside is thrift store shopping is a lot more fun and there’s a lot more options.

I can't believe there is zero scale difference here, you look so different in these two pics - no matter what, great job! ITs working. ;)

Friend request sent. You can do this!!

My goal for today is simple. Accurately track and stay under on calories. I am at my parent's house and have been lazy about tracking the past two days, and they always have cookies, ice cream, and deserts at the ready.... Always. It's good that I don't live there all the time. :)

Hi! I am currently at my parent's house, which is always nice because being a solo parent of a high-energy 8-year-old is always challenging, but all the more so since we are in the middle of covid and don't have the regular outlets of school/work/etc. I am also currently bruised as I stepped on to my parent elliptical this…

Starting weight: 272 (2/27/2020) Current weight: 202 (1/7/2021) Total lost to date: 70 I am super close to "onederland" which will be awesome and then my next official goal is 172, but I get pretty excited at each decade, so will be happy at 192 and 182 as well. Feeling good overall, somedays the loss feels so quick, and…

Hello all, my name is Alisa (Ahhh - lee - sah) and I am excited to be joining in with this challenge. I have been consistently losing weight through tracking, but have been inconsistent with movement - excited to have some accountability there. Feel free to "friend" me on MFP, I love the connections!
