Thank you all for the ideas!! I'll definitely try roasting veggies and see how they are along with a few other of the suggestions. @dfwesq, I figured tomatoes were considered fruits now but anyway I thought I could try to add even more veggie content, like @jgnatca had suggested adding a carrot and @lemurcat12 suggested…

I third air-popped popcorn. I got my air popper for about $15-$20 and if you get I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray or something similar, you can add flavor for 0 extra calories. You can eat a lot of air popcorn for 50 calories!

I completely understand being too busy for workouts. I have three young ones as well, 5, 2, and 11.7 months (she'll be 1 on Jan. 6th) and it is difficult at times but I usually squeeze in 20-30 minute workout videos on most nights after the two youngest go to bed and also have random workout spurts during the day like 1…

Feel free to add me! I am 9 months PP too with my third child. I started MFP in early April and have lost about 30 pounds but still have about 70 pounds to go to my goal weight. I didn't gain anything during my second and third pregnancies (both girls) but I gained 80 pounds with my son 6 years ago and that's what I'm…

You can add me! I have kids that are 5, 2, and 8 months and also go to school full-time. I started counting calories in early April and with a few stutters in my loss I have lost 30 pounds so far.

OP, I understand it can be frustrating when someone eats what you had planned, but you should try to look at it from his point of view. I think he thought he was being helpful and thoughtful by eating the leftovers and leaving you with the new food cooked that day or didn't realize it would bother you so much. My husband…

Hello! I'm Samantha and I'm not a teacher but I do have 3 kids and my oldest is going into kindergarten in less than two weeks so I've been doing a lot of teaching with him. I wasn't sure if I would have time for this challenge with school starting for me as well in a week and a half but I just can't say no to challenges.…

I do this as well. I enter the recipe, let it match whichever ingredients it wants, and then go on to the app and click "replace" and then scan my items.

You can add me as well! I am 23, married, have a 5 year old boy, a girl that just turned 2 years old today, and a 6 month old girl. I am also going to school! I am heavier and shorter than you but we have a lot of similarities. =)

I would like to join too! =)

Thanks! =) I can't wait until I get to 199! Also, sorry for the confusion. My MFP name is my son's initials, MXM, and my daughter's initials, AKM. I made this account before the third one was born or her initials would be in it as well, making it more confusing! Samantha

Yes, this morning saying I got in to Hufflepuff! My husband also got a message this afternoon that he has been waitlisted but he applied about a day after you did, yesterday around 4pm EST I believe, so if you didn't get a "waitlist" letter yet there's probably a good chance you got in and the prefect of the house hasn't…

Mine does this. =( It's a weight watchers scale too so I thought it would be accurate, but I spend about 10 minutes each morning trying to get an average out of all the weights. It's usually a 2 pound different from the highest and lowest weights, all which happened seconds/minutes apart. I need a new one. Anyway, congrats…

I'm so sorry about your father. Thinking about you and your family.

I'll be in this thread... during the next "20 pounds by Thanksgiving" challenge. :D Great job ladies!
-
Ok, thank you! I just wanted to make sure my application was received. =)

Quick question. I sent an application in yesterday and still haven't received a response. About how long does the process take? I don't want to miss this challenge. It looks like a lot of fun!
