How do you fit all of this in 300 calories? A small banana and a tiny 2tbs serving of peanut butter are already 300cals. Or maybe I’m the only one who can’t get by with that little pb 🤷🏼♀️LOL Do coffee and pb go well together? I saw a Reese’s creamer at the store a while ago and couldn’t decide if it was appealing and…

We are a family of 4 (two adults, two toddlers) and we love love love Costco! Especially here in Hawaii it's the cheapest place to get most produce/dairy and even shelf stable items Every week I buy individually packed frozen chicken breast, eggs, milk, cream, cheese, deli meats, tub of organic spring mix, tomatoes,…

Thank you! I actually have the heart rate monitor off unless I'm actually exercising since I've found that it greatly overestimates my all day caloric burn when it's on so I'm very stumped how it could detect the bike ride. I didn't know you could turn auto detect off. I'll do that, thank you!

I asked for a credit to upgrade my charge when it broke and they said that they can only replace it with the same item. You can choose a different color if it's in stock but that's it. Sorry :/

I did a c25k a few weeks ago and loved it! At first I had trouble running 1/4 mile/3min straight now I run 4-5miles 3 times a week! I highly recommend it!

I believe that the general consensus is that an absolute beginner *can* build a small amount of muscle in a deficit. But most importantly strength training while losing weight helps you retain your precious muscle mass! You want to lose fat, not muscle so you don't end up "skinny fat"

5'9", 27yo female about 160lbs and it gives me an extra 500cals for 10k steps at sedentary I've learnt that it overestimates my burns though, surprisingly even more with the HR monitor. I log accurately ( everything in g on a food scale and I truly log everything) but it's overestimating my burn by about 200cals, more If…

Level 1, day 7 done! I'm over those damn jumping Jacks already, that's for sure lol

I've actually heard the opposite, tanning makes them more obvious because the white marks don't tan ? That being said, I got my first stretch marks in my knees and on the inside of my thighs around 13/14 after a major growth spurt and they always bothered me sooooo much. I learnt to live with them, they're just a part of…

Hey everyone! I'm on week 5 of c25k and I'm hoping to learn to love to run. Before this program I've never even run a mile non stop. Sad, I know. I'm still not enjoying it but I haven't given up! Feel free to add me! I'm always looking for friends to help stay motivated :)

Hey everyone! I have started 30ds several times but I never finished it! This time WILL be different! I finished level 1, day 2 today  Feel free to add me! I've lost 41lbs and have about 25more to go until I reach my ultimate goal. Working on incorporating strength training now to help get a better shape :)

That sounds like it could have been a "whoosh"? There's no scientifically backed explanation but it's a phenomenon that lots of people (myself included) experience when losing weight. The idea is that when restricting calories the body hangs on to some water in place of the fat it's burning and eventually flushes it out.…

I have actually experienced this. For a while my husband and I would get lunch at Pizza Hut, each of us eating a personal pan pizza -Hawaiian for me. Every single time I had to go to the bathroom within just a few minutes. Their pan pizzas are way greasier than the other styles and I actually don't even prefer deep dish…

We love love love these! Just discovered those at Costco! my non lc husband has been devouring these! Sadly our Costcos have been out of them for the past few weeks :/

I eat organic edamame by explore Asian. It's really similar to pasta in texture. I'll keep my eyes open for the organic soy bean one

That *may* have been me I made a post about it after I discovered it at Costco and I make sure to mention it in any pasta substitute post that I see haha. I love it!

This. Losing 2lbs+/week is working for op now but won't be forever. Weight loss isn't linear and at that rate wouldn't be sustainable. It'll taper down to 1lb/week and might even drop to 1/4-1/2lb/week for the last 10ish pounds. Realistic expectations are important. Yes, there are people who lose 100lbs in a year but for…

I love love love edamame pasta that I buy at Costco. 9g net carbs per serving along with 20some grams of protein. The serving is bigger than a serving of pasta, I usually don't even eat all of it. So good! Closest thing to real pasta I've found. I've tried shirataki noodles and thought they were gross (people seem to hate…

I keep my carbs under 100, usually around 60-80. I cut out all starches/added sugars but don't limit my vegetables and can usually fit in some fruit too. That was important to me. I don't have any cravings and I'm losing weight. This is perfect for me.

I couldn't agree more. I don't buy them anymore because I don't have the self control to only eat one serving and even that isn't worth the 150/200cals. Especially with macadamia and cashews I could eat half a pound and not care lol My husband just bought a giant bag of Costco trailmix to save money since he buys the…

I use Salsa in Mexican inspired salads. Usually with shredded chicken/pork, roasted onions and peppers and sometimes corn. Over romaine. My usual go-to dressing is bolthouse farms yogurt dressing classic ranch. 2tbs only have 45cals! And it's truly soooooo yummy!
-
I love love love the edamame pasta! I'm sensitive to grains and this is the closest thing to real pasta that I've found! And you can't beat 11g fiber and over 20g of protein ! I'm in Hawaii and get most of my groceries at Costco. Even though we don't have half of the stuff that I've read about in this post lol I always…

We love love love sweet potatoes! We have two favorite ways that we eat regularly! Chopped and roasted with olive oil, fresh garlic, salt and pepper and then topped with fresh Parmesan when done Or on the sweet side incorporated into sweet potato pancakes! So freakin good!! We love them!
-
I debate the same question when it comes to ranch: full fat 200cals/2tbsp/1carb or yogurt ranch 45cals/2tbs/3carbs. I like A LOT of dressing on my salad and I love salads, I have one at least 3 times a week for lunch! unless I'm out with no other option I always pick the yogurt ranch. I prefer the flavor and I'd rather use…

Yes! Sooooo gooood! Add grilled chicken or fish and you have a whole meal :)

Thank you! I do follow a few lc pages but I would love to join an interactive group! I love the support of this group but I constantly have app issues so I'm not on here too often :/

Thank you. I make them with real Parmesan from Costco and do find that it's cheaper but the texture isn't the same. Those things are just too delicious!
