Made this delicious recipe tonight - uses ground chicken and Whole Wheat Egg Noodles - just google Chicken Marsala Meatballs by Skinnytaste !!

Add me! Mine is September and I'd like to lose 15 lbs.

My diary is open! My diet varies from day to day and I use recipes from My Slender Kitchen and Skinnytaste all the time. Mostly lean protein and veggies at every single meal. I always save some calories for a snack or dessert. Add me if you'd like!

@ariceroni thank you so much! That was super helpful! I can hop on the leg this morning with no pain. Haven't felt any pain in the last 18 hours or so. Going to run this morning and see if it starts back up at all.

@Elise4270 what kind of compression? Like a tall sock? Forgive me, I'm pretty new to the running community.
-
@kristinegift it's more constant than throbbing and very dull - I have only begun noticing it since doing a few interval type runs on pavement vs. my usual which was the treadmill. I've also noticed bruising on that leg. (Only right leg is affected) I have a few bruises on the back near my knee and sides. Wondering if this…

Training for the Vestal 20k in June (NY) and the Bar Harbor Half in September (ME)

I am going to try for 90 miles in April since that was my March goal and I came up a few miles shy! Hoping for a little more grit and determination from myself this month and also planning to mix up the routine and incorporate more outdoor runs to get used to the oncoming Houston heat! Let's do this!!
-
Squeezed another couple miles out this morning - one day left in March!
-
I don't think it will be possible to get to the 90 this month but it's been a valiant effort- still plan to knock off a few miles between today and tomorrow!
-
Not sure if I will make it to the 90 this month (I had a bad week where I fell off) but I signed up for a 10k this weekend and I've made progress on my speed!
-
@JohnONE29 I just bought Eat and Run today - can't wait to read it! @Stoshew71 thanks for the awesome list! I screenshot it and will work my way through- just finished Born to Run and I really liked it!
-
Getting closer! Can still achieve my March goal if I average 3.3 miles per day every day!
-
Any recommendations on good running books? I am current reading Born to Run by Christopher Mcdougall and just finished Unthinkable by Scott Rigsby- def would recommend them both!
-
Currently watching The Returned while I run. Here's the latest update
-
3 more miles down today - scheduled to run 4 tomorrow. Excited I found a new binge watch show on Netflix that will keep me going on the treadmill!
-
@MobyCarp I miss running in beautiful upstate New York! I am originally from Binghamton and nothing beats the parks and beautiful hills up that way. That's the weather I miss running in (and scenery!)
-
About halfway through March but only 1/3 through my miles... Uh oh
-
Thank you everyone for your posts! Very helpful.
-
Ran my first 11 mile distance last Saturday!

I'm going to wait and try some 5ks in the summer and see how I do - not going to sign up for that April half until I know what the weather is going to be- anything over 80 I think I will not survive. Haha

I've only ever experienced the hip pain while running, not after and not for days after definitely. For me it was the different mobility of each of my legs as my pelvis is actually smaller on one side causing my legs to be uneven. I have overcome this through stretching. If it's hurting after running, I would suggest you…

Goal is to build on last month! 90 miles for the month!
-
I use Runkeeper!

I read somewhere that running hills also helps increase speed. Any thoughts on this? Or anybody regularly do it? I'm looking to vary my workouts by adding inclines as well as tempo runs (I primarily train on the treadmill) and I live in Texas so most of my races are actually flat.
-
What about BEFORE you start running? Who eats "normal" foods and how long before you run do you eat?
-
Great! Thank you very much.
-
I am proud to have logged 82 miles this month and ran my first ever 10 miler! Goal for March: run more miles than February!
