My steps are showing up but no calorie burn at all, is this part of the issue?

Love it, means that even if the weekly weigh in is a bit cruel for one reason or another, I can see that the general trend is down!

11lbs, but I did go to Cuba all inclusive the two weeks before Christmas, so December was essentially a whole month of fail.

I must have been the laziest person before I got my fitbit.. I also used to be able to each so much food in one sitting before I started tracking properly!

Yeah definately this. I have my fitbit set to lose 1.5lb per week, so with a calorie burn of about 2100 I'm eating around 1350+ (normally more, using 1.5 as a goal but really achieving around 1lb per week!)

Yep me too, and with only three weeks until holiday this is when I should be the best!! Never mind, log as much as possible and carry on :)

Thanks guys, I know eggs are low carb, but it's the rest of my diet that isn't!! so looking to implement some lower carb dinners :)

I weigh every day and log it on an app called 'Happy Scale' that evens it all out, but I take my official weigh in on a Saturday, and log that one on here :)

More to do with the fact I can't afford to spend £100+ on a new one, but if they let you trade in it wouldnt be so much :smile: Will have to just keep hinting to the boyfriend!

The calculator gave me 31.19%, Body fat measured last night at one of those stand on scales at the gym came to 31.1%.. I'll take that.

There's quite a lot of threads on this already if you have a quick search :smile: I weigh everyday and track on an app called Happy Scale, shows you an average line so even if you fluctuate by like 4lbs it will show you the average over the last week etc. I've had more success this way but only because mentally I've got a…

Mine's called a Meatza. Pasically you get mince and bind it then spread it out like a pizza base, cook it then cover with a low cal sauce and some low cal cheese and voila. I think it's so yummy especially when I've already eaten all my carbs at lunch!

I think drinking green tea for me just means I'm not having my usual white tea with milk and sugar, so helps me that way..

Thanks everyone! When Patttience posted I got quite disheartened, but I know I need more fruits and veggies!! For example I had peas and spinach with my chicken and rice today I just haven't logged it yet :)

If I'm adding more fat and proteins are you suggesting a low carb diet? How low would you suggest?

I agree the crunch bar was unhealthy, but I've also found that restricting and cutting things like chocolate out of my diet entirely cause me to fall off the wagon and eat an entire family bar of something instead.

Thanks! I do eat a lot of chicken breasts as we buy them in bulk so mincing might be a good idea!

Yeah incorporate something sweet into your daily calories, once I sit on the sofa and the boyfriend brings out the chocolate I need something too, so I always allow for something sweet like a Quest bar (30 secs in microwave!)
