Hi! :) I've been around for a while. Lost 40lb between mid-2015 and 16. I started working last June and have since put on about 15lb. I've hopped on and off the wagon a few times between then and now, kept failing, but am finally into the flow of things again now. Motivation is always welcome, especially after finding most…

Amazing progress. Well done and keep it up! :)

Hey! 5'3 here, looking to get to 115lb (currently 140, started at 180). Friends for support and motivation are always welcome. :) :)

I've lost 40lb in the last year. So yeah, definitely works. ;)

Hey there, I'm in Cornwall. :)

Stay strong and you'll do awesome! I found that I stuck with it because I really wanted it! :) And thank you! hah, that's funny actually, as everyone seems to want them! They were cheap too. :D Many thanks everyone. :)

Thank you! :)

Thank you everyone :)

Sorry, forgot to add that in my post. I'm 5'3!

I'm 32, resting HR is high 40s to low 50s (48 - 52). It was in the high 60s and sometimes higher this time last year.

I'm 5'3". Already lost 40lb but still have 26 or so to go. Feel free to add me. :)

My waist, face, neck and wrists all lost the fat first. Slowest fat loss seems to be my thighs, they've barely changed. :D

Smoked for half my life. Smoke free for 3 years now (actually 3 years tomorrow). Quit cold turkey. Tried everything from pills and gum to patches and ecigs but cold turkey was the way that did it for me finally. Best thing I ever did and never want one now. :)

Somewhat of the nerd variety too. Feel free to add. :)

Mine is my gaming name on Steam and other platforms. Has been for a few years now and I just use it everywhere else now too. Duck because I like ducks, I guess. The 'Nova' part came from Dota 2 because I loved the way one of the heroes pronounced her mounts name (which is Nova). /geek

I've used various Android phones (my favourite was the Nexus 4) and 2 iPhones (only 5c and 5s however). I prefer the simplicity of the iPhone and camera quality, and a few other things. I do however thoroughly recommend a Nexus device if you want to go Android. Skip the bloat of Samsung and go with pure Android!

I started with walking. Just walking a little, like 3km here and there. I ended up walking 10-12km several times a week. I then moved on to some basic home workouts from YouTube (like Jessica Smith) and running. I now can run 7-8km (still with a bit of walking) and can do higher intensity workouts like Insanity and other…

Have been here for a little while now (nearly a year) and have maybe even posted in here before but can't remember haha Lots of inactive friends now so, looking for some more friendly faces! Cornwall UK

I run 3 (sometimes 4) days a week (usually about 40-60 minutes), every other day I walk, and/or HIIT and strength training. Sundays I always walk, about 2.5 - 3hrs.

Mine is very similar (I also weigh daily, and track it on a graph, so at least I always know it it truly is an up or down). I typically fluctuate for a few days and then I end up at a new record low all of a sudden. It's definitely interesting.
-
As above, yes! Your waist looks quite slimmer! Well done!

My allowance/deficit is pretty low (I'm short) but I usually manage 100-200 calories of treats daily. Those tend to be (UK) biscuits in the morning with my coffee. If I have chocolate, I'll have a bit of that too. Or sorbet.

I had a gangrenous twisted ligament in my groin in my mid-teens. It flared up a day after doing some sit-ups in PE class. Couldn't walk without pain but had to to get to a doctor who decided to poke and prod it. Surgeons tried to push it back in thinking it was a hernia. Didn't know it was the ligament until they took the…

Herbs, spices, salt and pepper, vinegar... generally anything for seasoning, I don't count any of that. Fry Light I don't usually count unless I go over 10 squirts. Basically if it's under 10 calories, I won't bother logging it.

Every single morning for me. I keep track on weightgrapher.com which shows me the moving average, trending weight, changes and monthly prediction. I actually can't imagine not weighing daily now as it keeps me motivated. Daily weight fluctuations don't bother me though which makes it easier. :) ETA: I don't record it on…

Wow, 10. Well done! :D ;) Not a mum myself, but UK-based and started off with 60lb to lose (I'm halfway). Feel free to add! :)
