@Scochrane86, Congratulations!! Yes it takes more effort, commitment, dedication, ups and downs, but in the end it was and is YOU who made the change. Avoiding surgery is the way to go. You'll also find this WOE is anti-inflammatory by nature and you will start seeing/feeling those benefits soon (if you haven't already).…

To get 3000 mg of sodium will be 2 teaspoons of salt (I like sea salt and pink Himalayan salt). Every morning I place 2 teaspoons salt in a small mason jar with 6 tablespoons…

Hardee's will do a low carb burger...No bun, meat and fixings wrapped in lettuce. Some pizza joints will do toppings in a pan (meat, cheese, sauce, veggies, etc). I avoid fast food for the most part.

Well fudge, I really wanted to start right on this. Yesterday was a butt kicker for me, then today hours on the road to get to the beach for a mini vacation. No measured miles for day 1 and 2. Hopefully can make up for it tomorrow with walks on the beach.

You would adjust your fat macros downward (but not less than 60 grams) to facilitate weight loss. It makes a huge difference to make sure you eat the suggested amount of protein for your…
