I cook 40 grams of oats in 1 cup of water with a touch of cinnamon a touchbof vanilla and half a cup of frozen blueberries then I top it with 1/4 cup 2% milk and 12 grams (about 1 tbsp) of brown sugar. Comes in at 350 calories and it's delicious and keeps a me full til lunch.

What's wrong with putting a tablespoon of brown sugar or honey or maple syrup on your oatmeal? It makes it tasty with only a moderate amount of extra calories (60 cals for honey or maple syrup and 45 for brown sugar). I make my oatmeal using water and I add frozen blueberries cinnamon and vanilla and once it's cooked I top…

I take 4000 iu every day and have noticed since I started doing that 1)I'm no longer deficient, 2) I feel better mentally and 3) I am able to run without getting shin pain/shin splints, whereas prior to taking vitamin d supplement I would get about a month of running in before I'd have to stop because my shins were sooo…

I live in Saskatchewan and food is very expensive here. Weare a family of 4 and I easily spend between 200 - 250 every single week on groceries. And that's just buying what we need for the week and no extra treats or anything "junkie" so just fruits and veg, whole graims, a bit of dairy and a teeny tiny bit of meat (I…

I have a polar FT7 with the chest strap and when your heart rate gets to high the watch part of it vibrates and beeps at you.

I'm in Saskatchewan Canada and my grocery bill is also sickening. I shop at superstore and Walmart and I spend $250 per week to feed our family of 4. That does include toiletries and stuff but doesn't include a takeaway meal a week or any alcohol we may or may not buy. Sad thing is my husband is a hunter so we have a…

@ThatUserNameIsAllReadyTaken - my son has been having severe stomach pains for no apparent reason so among all of the other tests he is having his pediatrician also wants him off all dairy for a few weeks. When I measure out a half cup of dry oats then toss them onto the scale it comes out to 60 grams. That's a good amount for a filling breakfast but I wouldn't describe it as even remotely close to way too much.

That is a good point though while I do log the exercise I do I don't eat the extra calories I get from it. I guess I have the setting correctly set to sedentary.

I don't know if this will help but it helped me immensely. When I was pregnant with each of my kids I would get extremely constipated to the point where my stomach hurt all the time I was extremely bloated, I felt nauseous etc...it was absolutely horrible. Nothing worked to get me going. Then I heard of squeezing a lemon…

I use this method also. I found my eggs never peeled well when I boiled them on the stove and was wasting so much egg. They peel perfectly every single time following the oven method. I'll never boil them again.
