Are you weighing your food, it really does come down to eating in a deficit. I really see no reason to do low carb, if your have no health issues.

I eat a whole natural plant pure diet, I do get enough protein and enough fat. I wouldn't say I am low fat, but I do watch my fat. weight loss is 80 % diet and 20 % exercise. You do not need to kill yourself exercising to lose weight. It does help keep you in a deficit. I lost over 50 lbs with very little exercise, cause I was unable to. Now that I have lost 70 lbs I am able to do a lot more.

I don't think it matters, you can be fat, skinny and unhealthy as a meat eater, a vegan or a vegetarian. People say all you need to do is eat in a deficit to lose weight a calorie is a calorie and they are right to a point IMO (which I am allowed to have) You can also be perfectly healthy eating a meat diet, a vegan diet…

I made the switch to a whole natural plant base lifestyle a month ago, I don't eat raw vegan, mostly cooked, but I do eat a lot of raw fruits and veggies. It is different for everyone. I consider clean eating to be whole natural plant base foods.
