My parents said I inspired them to start using mfp and to lose weight, and they've both been succeeding! My mom has lost over 40 pounds and my dad has lost over 20  so I guess my nsv is I'm inspiring

Self control for the win!!!! When you find for hubby's candy stash, but refrain from diving in!!

Walking is fine, it was the 10 steps I tried to run that I experienced the pain. Thank you everyone for taking time to respond. Unfortunately, I have no insurance, so seeing a specialist is WAY out there. I'll continue to just walk and rest it for a few more weeks, and go from there.

SAHM here to a 1 year old. I live in a small town with no gym so either workout at home or go for runs. Feel free to add me :-)

Hahaha!! I still hate putting the laundry away!!!

Thank you!!

I turn 30 in November!! SW: 216 CW: 169 GW: 140-150 5'7" I want to get to goal by August for my 1 year weightloss anniversary and maintain until my birthday. After that, I'm hoping hubby man will be ok with trying for baby number 2!!! I put on so much weight with my first pregnancy that I hope to not with my second and…

Thanks!!! I've been feeling pretty bad about not getting back on track, so hoping posting about my success so far will help me find my motivation!!

I now weight less naked than my husband does fully clothed  that has NEVER been the case before!!!

It's been a couple weeks since I checked in on this thread, so my NSV is a week old. Two years ago, I tried doing the c25k program and made it 4 weeks before letting my pregnancy become my excuse to quit. Well, last Monday, our temperature got up to high 30s/low 40s, and it was just beautiful out! I got my mom to come…

Thank you!! It's been a tough ride, hence the falling off the wagon recently. Just have to get back at it, I guess

The last night of bowling last year vs. this year. About 11 months, a baby boy, and 60 some pounds difference. I guess the NSV is how I loved getting my picture taken this year!!!

9 months postpartum here. Started my weightloss journey when my son was 4 months old. Down to 172/173 from 216.4 and I'm 5'7". I still have 20/25 pounds to go (possibly!!). I've never been this small as an adult and am slowly creeping up to the smallest I remember weighing! My motivation to lose the weight was totally my…

I've been in a really bad binge/restrict cycle lately, coming out of the holidays and additional environmental stress. Well, today, I woke up and said it's going to be a good day, I'm going to eat close to my goal calories, and not look around for chocolate. I'm going to bed under my calorie goal by 60 calories (goal is…

I ordered a pair of pants a couple weeks ago that are a size smaller than what I've been wearing. They were going to be my next goal :-) well, I got them today, and the suckers fit!!! Aaaahh!!! I never thought I would ever fit into 7/8 pants EVER!!!

I love pickled asparagus! So nummy!! This is great! Thanks everyone for the snack ideas to go with my grapes  Here in Montana, we've been having a really cold winter, but that doesn't stop me! I used to eat ice cream all year round and blended coffees, too. Apparently, I have a thing for frozen things lol!!
-
I had issues with the cold at first, too, but kind of figured out a way to nibble them bit by bit with my less sensitive teeth. I think these are my new favorite snack!!

I don't really have any suggestions, just empathy. My legs and feel swelled so bad by the last 6 weeks or so of my pregnancy (my son came 2 weeks early too) and the swelling didn't go down until almost 6 weeks postpartum. I got to deal with pre-eclampsia, though. Just keep pushing through, it'll get better one day ;-)
-
I use Libra to track daily fluctuations and trends :-)
-
Here's my work in progress. I've always carried my weight in my torso. I'm also 8, almost 9, months postpartum from a c section delivery. I'm down around 40 pounds.
-
Omgosh! You all make me feel so good!! Thanks for the support and motivation to keep going!!
-
Thanks!!

One that wants a smaller propane bill this winter ;-)

I just hit the cold all the time phase a couple weeks ago. Hubs had started complaining about me adjusting the thermostat and told me to start wearing more clothes in the house. I guess this winter I'll be wearing a few more layers than I have in the past!!! ;-)
-
I attempted to log it, but then gave up and snarfed down a bunch of delicious desserts. Thanksgiving is one of my days that calories don't count :-)
-
Me three!!!

I totally feel you on this one! I'm not quite an inch shorter than my husband but have ALWAYS weighed more. I have about 20 pounds before I'm less than him and can't wait!
-
Started this journey wearing size 15/16 (US) pants. Was able to buy a pair of 9/10 yesterday. Haven't worn that size since high school/early days of college, and only then did I wear them tucked UNDER my belly. Now my belly is tucked IN :-)
-
I should add that I lost about 30 pounds in the first 6 weeks postpartum and started to gain some back with the stress of not being able to ebf. I'm positive most of it was water weight (and baby stuff!!!) Due to pre-eclampsia and massive amounts of retained water. You should have seen my legs and feet!!! I gained around…

I did, and still am, but my situation isn't the best. I was unable to exclusively breastfeed my son, who is now 7.5 months old. At one month, when he wasn't gaining, we started supplementing with formula. So he was about 60%ff/40%bf. I started working on losing weight when he was 4 months and started with 1700 calories and…
