Mmm that sounds delish!!! Thanks

Just something I read somewhere ...that it's more difficult

How does a person live without rice, pasta, potatoes...and so on!? Jeez. These have been a staple for years. I'm not doing it for medical reasons. Just trying to lose a bit of weight and I'm thinking I might be one of those people who are 'carb sensitive' ... Thanks for the input!

For all you gems out there eating only 35% carbs please tell me how you do it!!! Yikes. I can barely get mine down to 45% right now. I could use some feedback on replacement strategies. My macros drive me crazy...this is a bit comforting to know I can relax a bit as long as I'm in check with cals but it's also crucial to…

Awesome thanks !! I'll get the hang of this eventually, lol...

Question for you: if I reset to half pound my cals are about 1700; does this mean my exercise is technically included in this? Right now I'm eating back my burned calories for the day and always logging my workouts and walks etc. but if I'm set to lightly active, is exercise already factored in? Meaning one should not at…

I'll try it!

Yes and I couldn't imagine taking on a larger deficit ! I'm at 1470 right now and I eat back my calories burned from exercise. I couldn't do 1300 that's for sure. I also have myself set to lightly active even though I'm definitely not! I do not eat past 730pm, unless it's the weekend and then well, no holds barred ;)…

Yep, easy to gain harder to lose. Basically I appear lean everywhere but my belly and I guess a bit in my thighs and bum ;) Who knows how long it's been going on; I never ate well all through my life! Thought I could get away with it because I was tall and thin and had a good metabolism, lol. And 10 years later...…

Patience ...ahh yes, I do need this. Thanks for your response and encouragement! Super kind and motivating!
-
Wow! Good for you!!
-
Lol!! Good answer. Good question!
-
Haha! :) Well the last thing I want is another boring clothes stand! Looks like an elliptical is going to be the way to go!
-
Yeah I found a few online for a reasonable price...just want to burn crazy cals in as little time possible! Lol... I heard rowing is a crazy good machine too, but i would likely need some training on one first.
-
Thanks all! I walk already..a lot! Love the outdoors. I don't have an actual bike and likely won't get one. I simply want a machine for at home just for whenever I feel the need to get some serious cardio in. I workout already at home doing lots of core and cardio but I just want that extra extra burn for later in the day…

Thanks!

Ok this makes sense! I think I might just need to exercise on the weekends and take a break during the week when I'm already eating less or on par. That way, I'm always eating at my deficit. I think! ;) So much to learn; thanks to all

I assume this is more geared towards bodybuilding and stuff??

Yes and since starting this whole monitoring thing I'm 100% connected to my mind and how easy it is to develop an eating disorder. That's the thing, I don't want to binge and binge because I feel I'm depriving myself. I'd rather do what some of you are saying and allow myself treats whenever the heck I feel like it ;) So…

Thanks guys! I'll be getting some calipers and just a good quality digital then!
-
Nope. 4 lbs ...lol I think it's my posture and maybe I'm compensating when doing certain movements?
-
Thanks! I can't wait to see my tummy flat and toned ...I am only just beginning.
-
I basically follow some YouTube videos...same ones alternating. I follow the ones that work total body and core not just abs specifically. I have already issues with my low back and it could all be related. I do cardio as well, about 37 mins of hiit. So I mix it up. It's hard at home to make sure I'm using my body…

I wanted one, but I'm already obsessing with this app and so I can relate to the above comment that it would cause some overthinking ! I still might get one for monitoring heart rate and stuff like that..sleep patterns...the good stuff :) Thanks for the replies!
-
Oh! I didn't realize people could see that? What else can you see, lol!? I tried to keep it pretty private. But yeah I'm only needing to lose about 15 or so in total. My main focus here is to lose that weight, tone up, and just live a more healthy lifestyle. Glad I didn't get myself a Fitbit like I wanted! Sounds like…
-
Oh and did I say somewhere that I want to lose 12lbs??
-
And the fat is mostly 'good' ! I lost 4lbs in the first month...so I guess according to all of you( and thank you so much for your input), I'm right where I should be :) If we're already in a deficit, it's fine to eat back the exercise calories as far as I've come to learn.
-
I told you I'm new at this! Lol. Learning the language especially ;) I have a deficit of 600 I guess. Im always eating protein and fat. My meals are relatively balanced aside from some adjustments I'm learning to make ; too much fat sometimes or too many carbs..that sort of thing.
-
Wake up, walk, eat, workout.. Then go to work. 3 full meals and 2 snacks per day. Weekend is refeed time for me but I'm also tweaking this a bit too. Mostly eat according to macros but sometimes over in one area. Learning to balance this. Rarely over in Cals unless it's the wknd and I gorged! I'm upping the protein now to…
