Congrats!! It'll be here before you know it!

Was able to beautifully fit into a pair of junior's size 19 jeans over the weekend. I found them in an old bin of clothes from long, long ago. Lol.

Hmmm...I would love to start heavy weight-training this month...and keep on keeping on with all that I've been doing, nutritionally.

Planning is KEY! If you don't plan your high-protein, low carb, meals in advance you are much more likely to indulge. Love yourself enough to make the time to plan and prepare so you can be successful. You can do this! You already have - so you know you can.

Oh girl - I am losing my hair something fierce and it is sooooo disheartening!! I take biotin, get in a pretty decent amount of protein daily (usually around 80-90 grams), yet it's still falling out. Been so since about 3 months post-op. I had my surgery on 2/10 and I'm hoping there's an end in sight soon, otherwise I…

Oh man - eggs are tough! I am almost 5 months out and I still have a hard time with eggs. I would certainly try something different like yogurt, cottage cheese, ricotta bake, pureed chicken with sour cream and guacamole (my personal favorite)...

I wasn't bothered by it. I felt very strongly the need to do well on my pre-op diet - for my overall health and well-being, as well as the shrinking-of-my-liver before surgery. I didn't go off my plan at all. I was on shakes and bars (OptiFast) for 2 weeks and I wasn't bother by it. I knew it was short-term, and that I was…

Hope all is going well for you!

Even if you have a slight stall in your weight-loss, the benefits of lifting and the overall fat loss you will achieve is worth it!

GREAT JOB! You look wonderful!!!!

Best of luck to you! Feel free to add me to your friends list.

THANKS EVERYONE!! :-) That's in 4 months - from the doctor's official "start" weight to my 4-month surgiversary. My goal weight is 165ish...I'm currently 261.4

Down 74.8 pounds...

And another couple....

The surface tension of plain water is greater than any other liquid...hence the issues and the unhappy pouch.

For June I'd love to... ...get more consistent with my workouts (which will be easier now that the kids are finished with soccer) ...drink at least 4 glasses of plain water a day (my pouch sometimes doesn't like plain water) ...be more active with my husband and kids in the evenings and on weekends

I originally was planning on getting sleeved, but with further research on my part, in addition to discussions with my surgeon, I chose the bypass and I'm very, very, very happy I did. I had my bypass on February 10th of this year, so I will be 16 weeks post-op tomorrow and down 70 pounds as of yesterday. I feel great and…

I was told to take a multi-vitamin specifically geared towards bariatric surgery...so I take OptiSource Post Bariatric Surgery (chewable vitamin & mineral supplement). In addition, on my own, I take Biotin and Vitamin D.

I had the same thing happen. I didn't have to get the sleep study - they just gave me the c-pap machine. Things have been much better since.

You look GREAT!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed pureed chicken with sour cream and guacamole!

My first goal is to get under 200 pounds...and in my head, I think I have my ultimate goal at 165...but we'll see. I have a while before I get close to that...

I did a lot of praying and trusting that I would come out of it just fine...and I did. I focused on the fact that what I was going to do was going to better my health immensely and it was the right thing to do.
