You should be lifting pretty heavy when trying to gain mass so try to lift around the 6 to 8 rep range and take a good break between sets. I would imagine you do deadlifts, bench press, squats and shoulder press in your routines so concentrate on gradually increasing the weight as your strength goes up and you should make…

Try to eat 6 meals a day spaced out so you can fit in your calories, lift heavy weights low reps, do compound excersies like deadlift, bench press, squats, etc and you'll put on muscle but half of it will probably be fat. Be consistent and patient cuz gaining weight should be a slow process if wanting to put on as little…

Eat big + lift big = get big
-
First of all you probably don't eat enough and what do you do for strength training?
-
When I had an injury I used the stationary bike for cardio about 5 days a week and that worked really good for me.
-
You got prescribed steroids for a shoulder injury?
-
My macros are very similar to yours. 155g protein, 69g fat and 205g carbs and I never go hungry. You should try eating more filling foods likes tons of veggies which are low cal and fill you up.
-
Your welcome!
-
I would bump up the protein a bit, it should be 1g per lb of lean body mass. So if you know your bf% subtract it from your weight and that should be you protein intake.
-
They don't have to all be lean meats, when your going low carb you will usually have more calories going towards your fats.
-
Don't be scared to get a few carbs! Nuts, beans, some meats, fish, cottage cheese, eggs, and protein powder are some good options, there are many more too just pick things you like!
-
Make sure you get enough protein- 1 g per lb of lean body mass, under 100g carbs or as low as you feel necessary and get the rest of your calories from fats. That's how I would approach it!
-
I agree it's all about what works for you, but you have your opinion I have mine.
-
In what way am I ignorant about nutrition? Why go low carb if you don't have to?
-
Well if that's the case I'm completely wrong I guess it's a app and a website! :D Lol glad it's working for ya!

Whatever piece of technology your on its still an app.. and I don't see how what I said is ridiculous, it's completely true and people would realize that if they opened their eyes.. ironic cuz I smoke pot? Well you can judge all you want doesn't bother me.:)

-
Its not something to argue it's a fact.. if you want to spend half your life on an app no one's stopping you!
-
No matter how you look at it, it's still just an app.. and people use the app as a support system.

-
All I said was that beginners shouldn't need to go low carb! That is all, why don't you ask some professionals and I bet majority would agree with me. If you read the comments the OP told me she was not a newbie but just new to mfp quite a while after I gave the advice and she even said thanks because I was trying to help!…
