I gained close to 80 pounds over 5 years after I met my guy, now husband, lol. Love makes us feel comfortable! So me and my hubby have been getting healthier and happier!! Glad to have you on MFP! Good luck! :)

Thanks for this post! I've been agonizing over the upcoming holidays and thinking I should somewhat deprive myself of a big, yummy meal. But, after reading this, I've decided that would be terribly dumb on my part and I should be able to celebrate for ONE day. Thank you, PinkPixie

I was too! I am a California native so I was totally looking forward to having those snow days. I think we've only had like 4 of them over the past 4 years, lol. Super disappointing.

Agreed. I live in Fargo/Moorhead and that's exactly how it is here--the world doesn't stop turning because it's freezing outside or we have tons of snow...would be nice to get more snow days though, lol.

I can't believe people would actually say something like this--Super annoying and rude, geez! I have a toddler and go to the gym almost daily and my bambino loves it! Kids just happen to be an excuse for some people. Finding time is the key for everyone-kids or no kids :)

I definitely try to move more during the day. My almost 2 year will do yoga with me and it's fun to do together. I also run in place ten minutes at a time a couple times throughout the day. I also just try to play a lot so I am not constantly thinking about food, lol. I hope you find a few tricks that work for you! :)

I'm in no way an expert and don't know of any scientific studies to help prove your friends wrong, but I have lost almost 50 pounds (exactly 48) since the middle of April by eating whenever I want. Most days I don't eat "breakfast" until 2pm and sometimes dinner is around 11pm, lol. I'm a CICO *kitten* all the way! :)
