Yup. I don't depend on the exercise calories so anything I "earn" from them is just extra.

Listen to your body or your brain. Thank you!

Exactly. Tonight it's back to the abs video.

I'll have to check these out. Motivation from Pinterest usually works for me too.

Usually lazy days I can get through. It might not be the best workout but I've done it. But yesterday was different. I was mentally tired. Thank you for making me feel better! I'm taking a day off work tomorrow to get my life together to avoid being so rundown lately.

It's responding really well. I'm sore a lot but I see progress with photos and I like what I'm seeing and how it's changing so I want to push myself to see how much I can go. But you are right. I need to start seeing how far I've come versus getting run down by the daily.

I woke up with a headache this morning which explains my exhaustion at life yesterday. I guess I'm an all or nothing person. I commit whole heartedly or I don't. My goal is to find that balance that will allow me to take a break and not beat myself up over it.

You weigh meats before cooking, correct?
-
I use BeachBody on Demand almost daily. I love it.
-
Thank you so much!! This process can be daunting for beginners but you guys have helped tremendously!
-
So the idea of this is to move through the progression of movements if I'm reading it right. I like this. You can kind of do it anywhere and it gives you challenges.
-
Got it. So how does You Are Your Own Gym work? DVDs that are done 3 times a week?
-
This looks similar to the Nerd Fitness. Did you find it more challenging? Thanks!

I'm doing 3 sets now. I noticed last night while I'm winded at the end, the exercises are becoming easier. This might be a dumb question but hey it's the only way I learn. By adding you weights, you mean holding them in my hand while I do these? Ankle weights?
-
Thanks!! I like the ease of this. No DVD, no equipment needed, can really do anywhere so that's the appeal of it as I'm on the go a lot. And gym access with my schedule isn't feasible at this point. I've been doing for about 4 weeks and noticed that certain things have gotten easier so that's why I was asking about adding…

I usually get full on about 1200 to 1300 calories a day. If I do more, then I earn more and sometimes I take advantage of it and sometimes I don't. All things in moderations. Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, fruit, veggies, etc. Granted I still have whatever I want in moderation. If I want a bowl of cereal for dinner, I allot…

Cottage cheese mixed with just about any fruit is delicious!
-
Hmm that's something to think about. I wonder if it got knocked around in my recent move.
-
I like to think that willpower is like a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it gets.

Cheeseburger happy meal at McDonalds with a water...420 calories Chick Fila Wrap with no dressing 320 calories

I'm on the go in the morning so it's usually a Greek Yogurt or Cottage Cheese and fruit.

So once you reach your goal weight and you still feel parts of your are fatty then strength training will fix those? I guess that's the part that confuses me. I know you can strength train all you want but if you don't reduce body fat then it won't be seen. So if you are at goal weight, a healthy BMI, but still a bit fatty…

So question or many questions. I'm 5'3, currently 128lbs. I'd like to get to about 123. I've been there before and once I get there I don't really know how to tone myself. I have the baby pouch from my 8 year old that no matter how much weight I lose, it won't go away so I feel a big discouraged by that. Just gets more…

Thanks, guys!!! Every day is a new day to get right back on the train.

Does it taste funny or leave a diety aftertaste? Thanks! This sounds wonderful. I've had a few beer-a-ritas at some Mexican places.
-
This doesn't look bad at all. Hmm...I might give this a try. I'm not a fan of the mixers. The aftertaste for both the diet ones and the regular ones is horrible to me.
-
Just tell yourself it's not going to be as good as you think it is. And that you'd rather save your calories for something really good versus something that is just around.

Yay! This is one thing that MFP has taught me. A bad day doesn't wreck me. It might slow it a bit but it doesn't wreck. A bad day won't cause me to really gain weight, that it's really just sodium and water weight.
