All of us long-term overeaters would have really skinny jaws from all the chewing.

While the Charge 2 can be used to track different types of exercises (I use it and I'm very happy with it), I would be very careful about its calorie burn estimations. Like most trackers, gym machines etc., it tends to overestimate. I always halve the numbers (and it works really well for me).

"As long as you always fast for five hours between meals, you can eat as much as you like because it'll make you lose weight in your sleep." I wish.

If you keep at it, it's going to be awesome at some point. You'll feel better, look better, and your life will be so much brighter. (Or at least that's what happened to me, although I'd always thought it would be all work and no chocolate.)

I used to get a lot of "are you sure you want to eat that!?" etc. from my family. Um, yes, I know I'm overweight, but I'm not just going to stop eating altogether? I'm sorry I can't really help you, but I'll tell you this: by now I've moved out, I'm at a normal weight/BMI, and I'm probably the skinniest member of my…

Well, if it's any help, I've never cared about the details too much and still lost about 30kg with MFP (the last five of which sometimes decide to return...). Maybe you can try to ignore small errors in order to achieve what you're going for?

Not a food packaging example, but the washing instructions sown into my running shorts say WASH THIS WHEN DIRTY. (I do. It works!)

I never knew I was a pear until I went from obese to average. Suddenly I wasn't big all over, but had big hips...and for that reason, my big hips still kind of make me smile. ;) I agree though, losing a cup size = much easier than losing inches in my bottom half.

I need veggies with every warm meal now, like wholemeal bread and pasta, don't really like cream anymore and can't stand some of the junk food and sweets I used to love. Decent quality chocolate or a proper fresh burger though... sign me up. That'll never change.

About 90℅ of the water I've consumed in my life was carbonated. I must've died of dehydration long ago! :pensive:

A potato & pea curry that is coming together in my slow cooker right now. And some yogurt, because spicy foods are painful.

Wholemeal pasta in a tomato sauce with kidney beans and tuna.

A bikini is the ultimate goal. I may never get there. But I want to be able to fit into all my dresses from 2 years ago this summer...

Hi guys! I basically disappeared from the July challenge and never came back. XD I was ill for a while and was struggling to even keep my MA thesis going, so I basically dropped off the face of the earth and the internet. I haven't been running either. I'm trying to get back to it now, but I'll have to start from the…

After a week of travelling and family stuff, I've returned to find that it's mid-July and I'm way behind on my running goal. I also felt crappy this morning and only managed half of the 5K I had planned to do. Maybe I won't make my goal this month. Oh well.
-
...weren't you still writing your final thesis last month? Students who run must be the only students who think getting up for a 7am meeting equals "sleeping in".

2/7: 2.3 km run to try out new shoes 4/7: 3.3 km; still not sure about the shoes, but had a great run

Short run this morning to try out my new shoes. They're crap. Or just not right for me. Ouch!

I took up upper body workouts when I started running back in March, but I haven't seen any changes to bulges/extra fat. I'm kind of starting to see some muscle, mostly my triceps, but I probably really need to lose those last 10 lbs if I want them to be noticeable. In happier news, I bought new running shoes today (since I…

Hey, can we continue the eclair debate in July?
-
I'll stick with 35km as I did in June - I've been sort of exhausted lately, I'll be going away for a week and it'll probably be awfully hot, so I'm not aiming for more.
-
Managed just under 5K this morning. I woke up feeling icky, but decided to get out anyway and it helped a lot. Thank God, I thought I had lost my running mojo. June goal: check. I've been running (and lifting, though nothing very heavy) for three months now and I'm really starting to both see and feel a difference.…

Good God, this thread is so insanely active. @MNLittleFinn and @katharmonic - thanks! I'll do my best.

Another short run. :/ I thought I could do another kilometre or two, but then I got this horrible stitch I could not outrun. I get those now and then due to health problems, even when I'm not running. Still, I think another run should carry me to my June goal. Wednesday maybe as I need to lift on Tuesday.

Short run today. Between the heat and my MA thesis and the Brexit mess ( ), I just don't seem to have much energy. Better luck next week, maybe. Edit: I'd also like to lose some more weight. I don't think it'll happen while I'm still writing my thesis though.
-
3km run this morning - I'm still feeling kind of crappy and exhausted and I hope it's not one of my health conditions acting up, though it could just be my MA thesis that's stressing me out. Either way, I felt like I could not do 5K this morning. No way. Ah, running in a sports bra. That sounds like heaven to me!…

Got another early morning run in - again, 5K in 37 minutes, but not as much fun as the last one as I've been weirdly exhausted for the past couple of days. I've caught up with my running plan by now though. Last week, I decided that if I make my June goal, I'm getting new running shoes in July, and now all of a sudden I'm…

@ceciliaslater I'm glad to hear that!

:open_mouth: I want to be a runner, not a jogger. Leave me alone with the J word!

The thunderstorm we'd been promised never arrived yesterday and I couldn't find the motivation to get out and go running. Again. But then I thought, hey, @greenolivetree is planning to do it, so I'll just do it too, and left for a run at 6am today. 5K in 37min.
