While I don't really like the gym time, I like how I feel (both physically and mentally) when I am done with it. I keep a picture of me at my heaviest on my phone. When I am lacking motivation, I look at that picture and get my butt to the gym.

My staple breakfast has been Peanut Butter & Jelly Oatmeal. I add Crazy Richards peanut powder and low sugar strawberry preserves. Not very fancy, but it keeps me full until lunch and helps avoid snacking.

I am not a female, but look at the positives... In the last six months, you have lost 32 pounds and kept it off. That is a sizable accomplishment. Plateaus happen, just keep doing what you are and the loss will happen. I was stuck for close to two months before the weight started to come off again. As for loose skin,…

Good job. Take pictures for when the scale progress slows. They help.

I wish I could tell you, but my weight loss has slowed since adding lifting and cycling to the mix. The numbers may not be moving much, but they are still moving in the right direction. I feel and look better with it too. All I can say is keep at it, watch your diet and it will happen. If you need to see the progress when…

If you enjoy both, why not rotate between them?

1 - I just started cycling again in April after 10 yrs and set a goal of 1000 miles on my bike for the year. At that point, I couldn't do more than a few miles without my chest wanting to explode. After a 50 mile ride yesterday, I am at 1274 miles for the year. I upped my goal to 1500 by the end of the year and am not far…

Just a quick stretch with the dog tonight. The next 10 days will be rain, so it looks like I didn't reach my mileage goal. Other than that, I had a bunch of fun, increased my speed, strength, and endurance this month. Definitely a successful month on the bike. 9/1 - 9.3 miles 9/3 - 16.3 miles 9/5 - 23.7 miles 9/7 - 27.2…

I need to step it up if I want to meet my goal for the month. Commuted today via bike to aid the cause. Well done. The hardest part is just getting started.

Well done. You look great.

No time for a nice ride today, but I did use the bike to go to the grocery store. A rack would be nice, but was able to fit everything in my messenger bag. Something is better than nothing and this beat driving to the store. 9/1 - 9.3 miles 9/3 - 16.3 miles 9/5 - 23.7 miles 9/7 - 27.2 miles 9/9 - 21.9 miles 9/10 - 4.6…

Congrats. Keep up the good work.

That is no fun either. I'm glad you didn't get hit. Not much I could do when I realized what had happened with the pork chop, the driver was already long gone. I do have a nice grease stain on my jersey to remember it. :) ***** Just a quick trip to the bank. It is nice to be on the bike even if it is just for a short…

Even when you are at the pinnacle, most want more and are never there. Personally, I am not as fast as when I was in my 20s, but am miles ahead of six months ago when I started exercising again. Just keep moving forward and challenging yourself.

Great job. Congrats on a successful year.

An awesome ride until I got hit in the throat by a half eaten over cooked pork chop thrown at me by a passing motorist. 9/1 - 9.3 miles 9/3 - 16.3 miles 9/5 - 23.7 miles 9/7 - 27.2 miles 9/9 - 21.9 miles 9/10 - 4.6 miles 9/11 - 10.7 miles 9/12 - 21.9 miles 9/14 - 7.7 miles 9/16 - 6.5 miles 9/19 - 26.3 miles Total 175.3…
