Day 38, I'm down 15lbs today (296lbs -> 281lbs, 6'6"). It's no where near the success of some of the amazing people here, but today was the first day I looked in the mirror after sitting up in bed and noticed some change. The muscles in my shoulders were clearly defined (I carry very little fat on my limbs, but what little was there is reduced) but more noticeable was the line defining my pectoral muscle was more pronounced.

Might sound strange at 281lbs to see muscle definition like this, but I carry the vast majority of my fat as visceral fat, which is easier to hide (I've been sucking in my gut since I was 13, 25 years now..), but far more detrimental to my heart health and diabetes risks. I'm aiming for 250lbs by next summer, at which point I'll probably have my BF% reevaluated at the local sports medicine college and see how much more, if any, I need to lose to get to a healthy percentage.

Congrats on the loss man. I'm 6'6" too and started 4 pounds heavier than you did at 300. Changes like the ones you are seeing will continue to stack up.

Good luck in reaching your goals :)

    Good work!

I'm 6'4"; on day 30, 252lbs down from 264, and I know exactly what you mean, I can definitely see an improvement. I'm not going to win any Calvin Klein modelling contracts just yet, but the moobs are shrinking ;)

    Keep it going!
