I like “walking with Leslie” on youtube! It’s a very easy exercise but I’m moving. My apple watch says I tend to burn 139 calories which seems so little but better than sitting all day!

The primal diet sounds interesting and perhaps similar to the Mediterranean diet. I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ but both focus on healthy fats, low carb and fresh fruits and vegetables 👏🏼

@Nony_Mouse my nutritionist set mine at carbs 40%, fat 30% and protein at 30% of my total calories . My calorie goal 1200 so it works out to be 30 carbs, 10 fat, 22 protein for 4 meals :) it worked! Fats are counted differently. That’s why even though they are the same percentage as protein, you get less.

I’ve gone back to being meticulous about recording everything I eat and 1) food looks small but it’s been satisfying 2)lost .5 lbs in a week! 😊

I love my nutritionist. She gives me new ideas to substitute my bad choices. She gave me my plan and when I followed it, I lost the weight I needed to lose. She’s from HEB :)

I did a zumba video that was pretty fun! 30 mins Zumba Dance Workout - Full Video Also did an exercise video: 30-min Feel Good Strength and Cardio Workout. But my husband had some difficulty with this but I was fine.

Thanks for your help but I needed more specific numbers of percentages for my goals. You must be already at your goal weight since you’re not as regimented as I want to be to lose this extra weight :smile: The Salmon looks delicious. I’m gonna do that soon!!!

Thanks for this stern message about whinning and not wanting to do the hard thing to be healthy. It does require our decision! I didn’t want to get out to the gym to exercise but I did and now I feel great, alive and ready to accomplish what I need to do!

I think according to this recommendation for 1200 calories: 10% Sat Fats=13 15% Mono = 20 5% Poly = 6.7

Awhile back a coach changed my macros according to her recommendations, I guess I could write them down and switch back to the default and then tweak it. A nutritionist told me Sat Fat: 10%, Mono 15% and Poly 5%. All totals should be not more than 30% of my calories should be from fats.

I also agree with body composition making the difference. It all depends on how your jeans and skirts fit! I am 5'1 and weigh 130 now but I'm aiming to weigh 123 but I'm also going to get some muscle so I don't know if that is realistic for me but I'm eating a lot healthier, exercising, and drinking more water!
