Hi there Wanderwoman 👋🏻 I guess I should correct myself and say I’m trying to lower my total body fat...0
-
I lost 6 pounds from April to June and now gained 6 pounds! I went back i eating some of the food I enjoy so I’m upset with myself that I have little self discipline but I’m going to focus again and start recording everything AGAIN! I’m looking for a way to take pictures of everything I eat. I’m going to try to eat what I did and in May when I showed a significant and consistent drop. 🧐2

Yes, I’ve put on so much during lockdown ☹️ Currently I am focusing on nutrition and logging everything that I eat but I was wondering if you ladies are incorporating fitness to speed up the weight loss? Except for walking, I don’t know what to do. I could join a gym but it costs £40 p/m. I’m 48 years old and completely out of shape but My thought process is to take one step at a time and concentrate on change of diet. Any help given is greatly appreciated 😊2

I'm just getting started on my fitness journey. Hoping to lose 35-40 pounds. I'm 54 years old and exercising is harder than it used to be 🤣😂. There are a lot of exercise videos on youtube to try.4

Is that what you’re doing Kelly? Are you concentrating on arms one day, legs the next, tummy the next and cardio on another day? Which video would you recommend? I honestly don’t know where to start🙊🤷♀️0 -
I did a zumba video that was pretty fun! 30 mins Zumba Dance Workout - Full Video
Also did an exercise video: 30-min Feel Good Strength and Cardio Workout. But my husband had some difficulty with this but I was fine.1 -
My nutritionist told me I had to step up my exercise if I wanted to lose weight!1

I would find a different nutritionist lol3 -
PLEASE ADD ME!!!
I am 42, Just finished loosing the fist half of my weight (52 pounds ) - I've got about 40-45 to go, depends on how much muscle I gain
I have lost it all during lockdown
I'm eating good, need to step up and really focus on logging it all
I've been walking and I have a TRX system set up outside, but TBH I dont do it because frankly I hate strength training.
I really like full body workouts...something that is going to give me cardio and tone muscles at the same time. There are several on youtube, but I do a $20/month subscription to Thedailyburn.com
It's helped me a lot
WE CAN DO IT!!!3 -
Hi there ! My name is Ashley Villa and i was 200lbs in September 2020. I’ve decided enough was enough and I’m on a journey to losing that weight and becoming 120ish lol I used to weigh that in high school, and my scale WILL show that again. I WILL fit into size medium shirts and size 6 jeans/pants again. Today is October 5th, 2020 and I am down 6.2lbs weighing in at 193.8lbs ! I have been logging into MFP for 30+ days now and I’m feeling a difference. I cannot tell you how proud I am of myself ! So add me to see my journey or tell me your reason for being here !6

I love my nutritionist. She gives me new ideas to substitute my bad choices. She gave me my plan and when I followed it, I lost the weight I needed to lose. She’s from HEB0

Today is the first day of the rest of your life! Everyday we need to make the decision to eat right and exercise to be in good health for ourselves and those we love ❤️1

Greek yogurt for sour cream: .4c/0f, .9p vs .8c/2.3f/.3p (carbs/fat/protein)

I’ve gone back to being meticulous about recording everything I eat and 1) food looks small but it’s been satisfying 2)lost .5 lbs in a week! 😊2

That’s Greek yogurt on my shopping list then 😄
I’ve swapped a few things, green tea for black with milk etc, but also I’ve swapped unsweetened almond milk for semi-skimmed cows milk. Good choice or bad choice?🤷♀️0 -

I think the milk is a preference. Semi-Skim (1%) is not a terrible choice at all. Keeps both fat and calorie count down. I personally prefer almond milk to drink or eat with cereal, but I do cook w/ Cow's milk1 -
Yay, 3.3kg (7lb) down today, still have many more to lose but it’s a start. I know that the first 2 weeks are the easiest to lose weight but still happy that I’ve lost 👍2

I'm happy to have found this group! I am 38 and 170lbs. I've really been working hard since April and not had any improvement. My physician and RD have no other advice for me and my friend has lost 50lbs! I'm in need of a motivational group to help me through this!
Some of the things I've done: Intermittent fasting, calorie counting (1500, then 1400, now at 1300), weighting my food (4oz protein, 2-3 carbs, unlimited veggies), a increase in fitness (invested in a home gym with a treadmill and weights), and I use BeachBody On Demand videos 5-7 days a week (3 cardio and 2 weight days). All I can point to now is stress and sleep, maybe perimenopause...?0 -

How do you feel in your clothes?
Do they feel looser?
I’m hoping that your weight is transforming into muscle if not then, I am flabbergasted that you’ve plateaued from all your hard work 😓.
I’m new at this but I’m sure others will give you great advice.
Don’t let it get you down, stick with it. I have faith that this is a blip and suddenly you will see a difference.
Mahousive hug from Scotland to you coz honestly you don’t deserve those wretched scales not moving.1 -

Me! I'm starting over. I lost 22 pounds in 2017 maintained it for 2 years and have gained back about 15 over the last year. I had deleted mfp out of frustration with myself but realized I need the support. I'm back to counting calories and looking for friends.0 -

I'm in the same size clothing. Maybe a little loser in the "muffin top" LOL. I have heard coworkers ask what I've been doing since I look slimmer. I appreciate all of them0 -
