I could not get Melatonin here in the UK without a doctor's prescription - just got some magnesium but it says Magnesium Citrate on the bottle - hope that works. Lack of sleep is so debilating.

Thank you all for your replies - much clearer now. I am eating two bars a week and losing 2 lbs a week which is fine for me ( another 40 lbs to go) - as I do not want to lose too quickly and look like a candle (loose skins). When I finish my supply of Atkins, I will endeavour to not buy them again as I want to get away…

Same for me - and three months on it is not getting any better - although I do not feel more tired because I only get 4 hrs sleep rather than 7.

I cannit face butter in my coffee. I saw this in a French health documentary and I am doing it. I take 2 tabs of oilive oil and the juice and zest of one lemon every morning. My skin looks better and I am sure this is doing me good. The olive oil has to be cold and first pressed - and not a blend of olive oils from various…

I have the same problem - stopped taking it before starting low carb - got fed up with it as difficult cleaning glass residue, etc. I now take Benefiber - which is great - two teaspoons is not even 1 gram of carb (0.598 gr) and 3 grs of fibre, it can be dissolved in soft foods or drinks and is tasteless. I did not connect my burning scalp with my intake of vitamins. A week ago my doctor suggested that I drop all my vitamin intake for a week. Incredibly my burning scalp and burning eyes have disappeared. Still wondering if I am allergic to one of these vitamins or the cocktail of them so I might try to reintroduce them one…

Kallo rice and corn cakes - they come in many flavours here in the UK - from 34 to 40 calories each - favourites are Spicy Chilly (with a Dairylea triangle) and Paprika - for sweet treat Caramel or Blueberry and Vanilla. Big Sainsburys have the best selection.

I am now retired and have been forced to downsize my expenses. I wish I had done it years ago. Face cream - I now buy low cost cream/ ointment - The skin is like a piece of leather and any kind of cream works - three years on and my skin is as good as when I was using a top brand. Wasted money on top brands for years. Face…

In the UK - their in-store cakes are wonderful - their sponge biirthday cake with icing is the best thing ever. Their sesame seeds bagels amazing. I drive 13 miles to Costco just for them.
