  • Love the pics @Annr . All of your posts have made me giggle. Glad not to be alone. Logged my calories for the day and so far under 1500 and will do my best to keep it there for the night! No exercise for me right now as I have been put on restriction due to a physical issue. Have follow up this Thursday so hope to be…
  • Too funny!! I just turned 50 and remember those VHS tapes and all the things you bought! Me too! Need to lose 30 lbs. My husband and I love to go out to eat and have a few drinks but we do it way too often and it is keeping me stuck. I've also joined Dry August thread under the Getting Started forum. We are planning to…
  • Thanks @jeanniewes !
  • Missing in action. Long story but have been having dizziness, hearing loss, and tinnitus for a few weeks. My regular doc referred me to an ENT and appt. was yesterday. I do have moderate to severe hearing loss in one ear and they suspect either a virus that settled there or a rupture/fistula of membranes. So for now,…

I have a good friend who lives in Monroe. I can see you all share a lot and it will take some time to get to…

  • This is almost embarrassing but you gotta start somewhere:) 7-16 1.6 miles (treadmill 30 min.) 7-17 2.0 miles (treadmill 35 min., faster pace) You all are inspiring me! Thanks
  • Hi, New to MFP. Just turned 50 at the end of June and am looking for support, encouragement, and accountability. My current goal is 25 lbs and then reassess. I'm married to a wonderful man, one adult stepson, no bio children of my own, close knit family, and have five 4-legged "children" - 2 inside dogs, 2 outside dogs,…
  • Good morning! I get all the humor :D and thanks for the welcome. Yes, that's what I was thinking that the month's half over so I'll bump it up for August!! I'll mostly be walking either outdoors or on the treadmill at home but do have a gym where I can do elliptical, bikes, etc. so will track my miles however I can.
  • Hi all, Just joining MFP today and this is the area I need most encouragement and motivation in and I love this challenge concept. I have no idea what my goal should be but I'm thinking 50 miles...that would be 3 miles/day. Maybe over-reaching but gotta start somewhere, right? :# Glad to be here and loving all the positive…
