Haha I'm definitely a hiphop head too when it comes to running. I love Kendrick, J. Cole, Common, Kanye and other rappers to run too. I'm also pretty into electronica like The Chemical Brothers and Alternative rock like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and St. Vincent.

That sounds interesting, I've heard of the Zombies, Run! App but never really understood how the "interactive stories" worked.

Can't say I have. On a completely unrelated note ladies feel free to hmu ;)

I said no to a piece of a block of mozerella cheese that my sis was snacking on

I think another thing that I was curious about was that a lot of beginner programs suggest squats 3 times a week (SL, SS, ICF), since the squat is the supposed king of all exercises. Most of these programs refer to the Low-bar squat, which is why I was wondering whether the high-bar squat is still a "king exercise"…

Hey thanks for all the replies guys! I'll definitely do what's more comfortable which is high bar for me.

Trying to lose that much weight would be losing more than 3.5 lbs per week. It's not recommended to lose more than 2 lbs per week. I'd say the most important thing is to try to find a healthy amount of weight to lose per week and just stick with that. Don't worry about those size 0 ladies, I'm sure you'll be killing it too…

Well the thing is you can either lose fat or build muscle, not both at the same time. If you're at a calorie deficit while weight training, you'll build some muscle at first because your body might be untrained. After a while you'll pretty much be losing fat while maintaining as much muscle as possible, a lot of the time…

Nice Progress. I'm doing ICF 5x5's now while on a cut and gonna start my bulk when I'm at my goal weight. So I'm in this for the long haul haha.

Oh interesting, I never realized plateaus and stalls were two different things. Thanks for the insight!

I looked through Amazons top sellers and read some reviews. Ordered myself a pair of Asics Ventures and they've been great so far. It's usually a personal preference between shoes but going high quality is a good idea since those shoes last longer. It's better to buy right then buy twice.
