What you're eating doesn't matter. If you're in a deficit you're going to lose weight, end of story. You may need a diet break depending on how long you've been dieting, but you're in a very big deficit and could even raise calories and keep losing weight. Your best option is to determine calories taking into activity…

Careful with cliff bars, high in macros!

Actually cardio will help make that go away! This summer I spent burning fat. Cardio and calorie deficit. Lost 28lbs in 2.5 months. Now I'm reverse dieting to get back to a regular amount so I can gain some muscle and I'm strength training at the gym again. Not sure how much strength training can be done at home. Body…

I believe your information is extremely false. Would like to see a credible source to back up your claim. Otherwise, I suggest you stop giving people false information.

Best tip I have is to find something he enjoys. He's a big boy, so he doesn't need to starve himself. He just needs to make better choices in his diet which I know is hard! It's a journey to find what you like but eventually working out and eating right won't be a chore. Swim, bike, do a fitness class, lift some weights,…

Awesome! This is what I am doing as well actually! My weight schedule is a little different than yours but same diet plan :) it's going well and my muscles are healing much faster from eating more protein!

good advice thanks! my friend has me on a plan now! same idea!

Never watched these but I know when I have cravings I'll tell myself "you're going on a trip with your boyfriend in two weeks, you can eat something *kitten* then" and for two weeks I'll plan our trip and constantly look at food lol

My friend does intermittent fasting, but he doesn't limit his calories he just fasts for the first 8 hours (ish?) of the day and then eats. I kinda did this last week by accident, and ate 500 to 750 calories a few days. Going to do some research on the 5:2 diet. I'm not completely sold that fasting is healthy or that it…

Italian Sausage! real milk or almond milk?

Some people are so miserable that they want everyone around them to be just as miserable!

Best thing I can say is to drink a lot of water. Sometimes your body thinks that being thirsty is actually being hungry, when it's not. If you stay super hydrated, your stomach will also feel fuller when you do eat. Trust me it works!

This is a good idea. I've found ways to do good on the weekends but usually that includes eating small snacks and then eating that one thing I want that uses a ton of calories. I do allow myself more on the weekends that my boyfriend visits, so we can enjoy dinners out. Sometimes I'll gain a lb or 2 but once he leaves it…

Love having a good thread to read while thinking about all the junk I'm not allowed to eat tonight. Thanks, MFP.

I guess you didn't understand my comment. If you get enough protein, you don't need them. In your case, you don't get enough protein, so you do need them. Lots of them are full of sugar. Also, my point was they shouldn't be used to skip a meal they should be used for someone who doesn't get enough protein, like yourself.…

I do take protein shakes after doing a heavy weight lifting session, but if you have a good diet and eat enough meat they are super unnecessary because they're full of calories and sugar. Unless you're trying to promote muscle growth, I wouldn't use them to skip a meal.

Well, there's a little more to take into consideration here. It's slower when you weight less because your body needs less calories to maintain your mass. 3500 calories is described as how many calories in a pound of fat, but this is not true. For some people there's way more calories in a pound of fat, for others there's…

Are you using an actual fitbit? My friend have had theirs for years with no problems! My fitbit is fantastic, I have the fitbit Blaze and I DEFINITELY recommend getting one! I've lost about 20lbs since I bought it. I'm a very competitive person so the fitbit really pushes me and it's easy to say "I moved enough today" when…

It was tested and researched for several years before ever being released and I have a hard time believing this :)

It was tested for several years before ever being released! They would never release a vaccine that hasn't been thoroughly tested and researched. Good on you for getting it!
