ground chicken breasts is your friend. we made the switch from turkey to chicken a long time ago. still use grass fed ground beef on occasion. my wife cannot stand the smell of ground turkey cooking.

If you want crunch then toast your bread and add some onion, lettuce and tomato or thin sliced greenhouse cucumber. Stay away from the chips. All of them. Have an apple after. Try and get some nutrition in that crunch. No chips for me, thank you

I always bring a towel with me. I look around and no one uses a towel anymore. If you workout and sweat , then put a towel between you and the bench; if you use cardio equiptment, wipe it down when finished. Also, please rerack your weights when finished and everyone can have a pleasant day.

I had to have a b12 shot due to a b12 defeciency. I was told to start taking a b12 supplement. I now take a zipfizz before my workouts and it gives me clarity during my workouts. Zipfizz was the highest b12 supplement that I could find over the counter. I like it and will continue using it for now.

I work out at the gym at least five days a week. I need my 125 grams of protein a day. I try and divide my protein up into at least four meals a day. I try to keep my carbs under 100 grams. I'm never hungry at lunch but I always have a protein shake with avacado and flax or protein powder and frozen berries w/flax. I know my body needs this even if it gives me no signal. I'm then good till the evening. I just can't see going all day without some nutrients.

thanks nvmomketo, this makes a lot of sense to me. I think that is actually what is happening to me. I tried to go below 50g carbs per day but had headaches. I think i'll up my carbs a little, like the doctor said and also your advice.

I try to keep my carbs under 100grms so I can have more protein and fats in my diet. Is 80 to 100 grams of carbs too high for a low carb diet.
