I weigh the whole cooked lot and then do it based off that. So if you cook 450g dry weight (approx. a pound box) and it now equals 1000g cooked, then 100g of the cooked pasta will be 10% of the calories of a whole box. Does that makes sense?

My girls really like cosmic yoga. Its on YouTube. She does like the entire movie of frozen and Moana through yoga. Its not intense but fun!

I really want to try this!! I have been starting to drink more wine, and it almost always makes me make bad food choices!!! I'm with you!
-
I'll add you! I am also starting again after falling back into bad habits! I'm in Orange County!

Whenever someone stares at you, stick your tongue out at them.

Yes, I am also a stay at home mom. I tend to eat a lot out of boredom too, especially at night once my husband gets home and I have less to do. I'm just trying to keep myself preoccupied!
-
I have a two year old too, and i've been trying to lose the pesky 30lbs I gained with her! My diary is open. Boring, but honest. I'll add you.

Yes, i'm pretty sure you will die if you eat those. I hope I got to you fast enough!

Wear that cute bikini, and all those cute clothes you'd hide in your closet because you thought you were too fat. You weren't. And now after kids, your stomach will never look the same so you missed your chance to be young, and hot, and single. Oh, and don't do drugs.

If you live near a theme park, buy a summer pass for you two. He might hate exercise, but love the idea of the water park or rides or whatever. That's a TON of walking and a TON of fun. He might be up to it if you don't tell him it's exercise.

Go chase him out the house with the broom. If you have all this responsibility placed on you to take care of him, you need to be given some authority. (I personally don't agree with the position your parents are putting you in, but it is what it is). Hide his phone and controller, or turn off the power and take him…

Really, focus on what you can control. Model good eating habits (idk your goals), like portion control, eating when hungry and not when bored, and being very active. An 11 should be out running and playing. Ask him if he knows what hunger feels like. I asked my son this once, and he told me it's when he wants food, and…

I have an 11yo son. I would never expect him to diet right now, even if he was obese. You're not his parent, so it's not your responsibility like it's your parents. Play with him outside, get him to move. Offer to take him to the park, skatepark, pool. Help educate your parents on basic nutrition and explain calories. I…

Not for me. Reeks of trying too hard.

The other day my 6yo asked me to feel her arm muscles. She was exaggerating her huff and puff saying she was so tired from 'rubixing' and really 'feels it'. I ask her, what is rubixing? Apparently she thought her brothers rubix cube was an exercise tool, and you got muscles by twisting it. Oh honey if only it was that…

Salsa is awesome. Lurking badness? Never. Just if you start making salsa with avocado, be careful of the calories!

Amazing!! So inspiring!

It's from eating more the past few days, like you thought. It's not all fat, just maybe water retention, bloating, etc. To lose the weight, just go back to your regular routine. We all have ups and downs.

Chicken tenders. It's part of the breast but lower fat. Or ground turkey. The super lean one, like 99 or 98.

It's vacation!! I'd just enjoy myself with the stuff that's worth it, and not load up on so-so stuff that you're eating just because it's there or because you figure it's vacation and you need to go all out and binge. Like, is the restaurant tonight known for having a really yummy dessert? Yes please. Are the rolls they…

I'm soooo happy reading this! Today is my last day of week 4, and I'm finding it hard to stay motivated. What was your calorie goal once you joined here?
-
Amazing!! So encouraging, great job!

I'm about 160 trying to get down to 130. I'll be 24 next week, so we're close. I'm doing p90x and it's really hard. I log, and my diary is open! I'm adding you!!

Depending on where in the world you are the packaging will be a little different. In the US it'll say, one serving size 1oz (28g) or apprx. 10 chips. So if you've been counting out 10 chips, 3/4 cups, or whatever measurement you could be way off. It'll always have that grams measurement for you to look at for a serving…

Idk, maybe you can try to work in learning some cooking while it all still being super easy and convenient. So instead of Chef Boyardee or a frozen spaghetti meal, you can boil pasta, add jarred sauce, and microwave a bag of broccoli. That's a meal, less than $5, and minimal effort. Or instead of frozen burritos, take a…

Your whole face. Guacamole is so good. I'd just eat it with a spoon because jicama, cucumber, carrots, etc. all make it taste less amazing.

I think the chicken with spinach and jasmine rice sounds lowest if he sauce isn't creamy or oily, but that's a guess! I would be careful with the pita bread, they could be hiding a lot of calories depending on how big they are, or butters/oils. It all sounds good though! Just get one, and save some for tomorrow before you…

I just take fresh vegetables, wash and cut them up, toss them on a foil lined cookie sheet and put salt, pepper, and garlic powder. I used to put some olive oil, but I haven't lately. And cook them at 400F for about twenty minutes. I'm doing cauliflower and zucchini tonight, but I use whatever I have. Broccoli, squash,…

Greek yogurt!

I love cucumber slices with lime if I want something crunchy I can snack on aimlessly. Sometimes I'll add salt and chile, or tajin, but I don't worry about my salt intake.
