What to Dip in Guacamole?

Hi all!

I'm making my meal plan for next week and I've got it all figured out, except for the guacamole.

I have my recipe for that specifically, but I was wondering what everyone dips into their guac. I'm trying to stay away from tortilla chips. What do you all use besides tortilla chips to dip in your guacamole? Peppers, cucumber?

Thank you!

The same veggies you would dip in ranch. I also like to add it to salads, with salsa.

I just use tortilla chips...I live in NM; they are a staple food...but I don't eat a lot of guac...I eat a lot of avocados, just not guac...guac is for when we're having a back yard bbq or something and then I really don't care if I'm eating tortilla chips or not because I'm sure the beer I'm drinking does far more damage to my calorie count than a few chips.

    Guacamole is so good.

I mean, self-cannibalism can't be wrong when guac is involved... Right? :p

    :D

It would be great on a veggie wrap, burritos mmmm, or peppers would be a wonderful item to dip in the guac.

I put it on salads. I find that the amount that can fit into my calories goes farther if it's spread out and mixed into a big old salad. Then I don't really need salad dressing either. Win win.

Not a huge fan of guac but love the fruit sliced thin, sprinkled with a pinch of salt and eaten off one of those super thin crispy crackers 'Kavli Crispy thin Crispbread', a Norwegian import. 3 slices of that Crispbread are only 50 calories, 11 grams of total carb, 2 grams of fiber, are made with whole rye flour, have no fat in them so they are a perfect "platter" for thinly sliced avocado, or tuna fish salad, or chicken salad, or ham salad, or liver pate!

But if Guac it must be, then I'd use it as a topping in a veggie and bean burrito, dip the Kavli cracker into it, or use veggie strips of any vegetable I like.

Carrots and cucumbers would be great. Also slice some tomatoes and mozzarella cheese and spread some guac on top :)
