I think you're fit for particular things. If you want to run a 10k, then you're fit when you can do that comfortably. Although there is probably some base fitness that everyone ought to be able to meet I guess.

I use mapmyride and a stopwatch timer for some things like planks. Sometimes also Gaia which is more GPS than exercise ap but is an awesome map/GPS ap if you hike.

I try not to waste food. I try not to make too much and I try to use any leftovers. But eating extra food that I don't need is not less wasteful than composting it. A lot of bikers ski cross country through the winter months, I love it. If you don't get the snow to ski on you might be able to keep riding if you invest in some clothes, it's not as hard to stay warm on a bike as it seems. I ride into Nov in nh when the snow and ice send me to skis.

good morning walkers! yesterday, sept 6 the dog and I walked 3 miles. mapmyride is definitely exaggerating calories burned on me, its been set on general hike for type of exercise, I'm changing it to walk, I was never tracking calories at all before so I never paid any attention.
