Fab motivation and mileage gang! Great to see so many people getting out there and sticking to goals!
For those of you with injuries, I totally sympathise. I've had a badly sprained ankle for 5 weeks now and only just getting back into things. You must give injuries time to heal and focus on good nutrition - that is key to weight loss. Exercise is more about fitness.
Also, definitely take a rest day to allow your body to recover and please stretch after your workout- last thing you want is muscles going into spasm or cramping!0 -
good morning walkers! yesterday, sept 6 the dog and I walked 3 miles. mapmyride is definitely exaggerating calories burned on me, its been set on general hike for type of exercise, I'm changing it to walk, I was never tracking calories at all before so I never paid any attention.0

I injured something in my hip that has me under the chiropractor's care so my walking will be much less than usual for awhile.
September 1--4.42 miles
September 2--1.34 miles
September 3--1.37 miles
September 4--1.80 miles
September 5--2.85 miles
September 6--4.01 miles---feeling better today
I carry my pedometer with me all the time so this is all my walking for each day.
