Hey, OP! I quit almost three weeks ago! I upped my activity levels to compensate for the metabolism drop, and began a body weight routine this week. I'm maintaining the same calorie deficit. I lost a pound last week! This week, with the added water retention from starting the strength routine (and that lady time), I'm not…

Thank you so much, understanding, support and encouragement are so very helpful. I'm doing and will continue doing very well. And the occasional manic episode gets the house amazingly (albeit frantically) clean! Burns lots of calories. :D

About ten years ago I was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 and PTSD, different than the more common 2 in that instead of depression I have huge manic episodes then drop back to normal. Sorry if I startled you.... I'm exercising a great deal more this time, for the added benefit of mood stabilization. :) I refuse to take psych…

When you consume a ton of water without supplementing sodium, it never ends well for Low Carbers. I'm sure the veterans will chime in shortly. I add 5 to 7 grams of salt to each of my forty ounce water bottles, of which I drink three or four a day. Otherwise I crash and crash hard.
