Welcome @tjpecknh ! Swimming does make you hungry, no doubt, plus builds muscle so you want enough calories to fuel the building but not fuel the fat...tough balancing act. Alas I use fitbit which does synch, but I have to manually add my swimming. Will check out swim.com.

Sun tea, it is a thing.

@emmab0902 How many times a week do you get in the pool?
-
3000 yards @ 60 minutes. Four workouts this week when I had only planned 3 so that is a win. The hot weather here had me swimming instead of walking. Cooling off this weekend and looking forward to getting back out along the river.

Welcome. Former competitive swimmer too...started back in the pool after decades. First day I did 300 yards and thought I would die. I slowly built up over time, now I am doing anywhere from 3000 yards to 4500. Happy to answer questions if you have them.

3000 yards @ 60 minutes. I had planned to not swim tomorrow and go for a long walk, but with the temp hitting into the 90's I think I will switch up my plans. The beauty of swimming. :)

3500 yards @ 70 minutes Got in the pool and had just finished my warm up when they had to close the pool for thirty minutes. So I really wanted to get my swim in so I went and hung out in the jacuzzi. Has been ages since I have spent time in one, and while it was no overly hot, 30 minutes later I could really feel it when…

The law of conservation of mass states that mass in an isolated system is neither created nor destroyed by chemical reactions or physical transformations. Calvin lives in a scientifically accurate world...ish.

One trick to entering a lane is to sit on the edge with your legs dangling in, because the person is going to see that when the turn, if they don't stop they should take the side the want and then you can slip in and get on with your workout. The other is to wait for them to pause at the end and simply ask to share. Both…

I like the song, it reminds me of my youth...but if anyone can watch that without making some facial expression I would be very impressed. Seriously who told him that was a good dance move?

Welcome back @POHarry and @latilton1

Added a pair of finger paddles to help feel the catch and they are fun on back stroke too. :)
-
4000 yards @ 75 minutes Okay this whole changing your stroke thing? Harder than you might think. My elbows like the change though and so does my breathing. It feels easier physically. Now to make it the habit and not have to be quite so mindful of it.

Two people I tend to split the lane, more than two you have to circle.
