  • How when you hit your goal weight you don't magically have a perfect bikini body, WHERE ARE THE UNICORNS I EXPECTED??????
  • It takes me by surprise, because I don't feel like I look different really until I look at a before picture is the only time I can tell. I just say thanks, I guess I still don't yet feel like I'm at a good weight, but I'm only 15lbs from my original goal. It makes me kinda uncomfortable for people to acknowledge it, I have…
  • Lol I love this forum. Hilarious. How everyone is always so adamant that if I ask a question about something that means I absolutely think its totally true even if I plainly say I don't think it is. I said I didn't think the claims were viable since nobody has ever claimed it actually helped with weight loss (I don't know…
  • Im 5'5, starting weight was 204lbs, current is 146lbs. Over the course of 2 years I've (off and on) lost almost 60lbs. :) my original goal before I started was to lose 70-75lbs/goal weight was 135lbs or so. So not too far away! Technically I'm not really focusing on losing as much as I am strength training. I'm at a…
  • http://www.care2.com/greenliving/23-research-backed-benefits-of-apple-cider-vinegar.html Have a read if you'd like facts. So, why do you think people shouldn't drink it exactly? Just curious. If it helps, its natural, and not harmful.... I am not seeing the downside. It has helped me is all I'm saying. Could be my body…
  • Im definitely not expecting to lose weight from vinegar lol. I just like to have discussions on (I suppose meaningless) stuff like that. Well, it has helped and I've gone off of my acid pill and stomach pain pill without any bad effects and not had any gallbladder pain so I'll be adding it to my juice every morning as…
  • Did ACV sleep with your ex or something? You do know, it can't kill you, and there has been evidence of it helping certain things and studies show it can be beneficial, so, what's wrong with it? Obviously you're sarcasm is making fun of anybody who refers to it as possibly helpful. I'm curious as to why.
  • Not quite the case with me. I never had any gallbladder trouble until about 4 months ago. Started with every 1-2 weeks I would get a small pain in my stomach if I ate something really greasy. Within 3 months after it began I was having gallbladder attacks and every single time I ate I had a stabbing pain no matter what I…
  • I figured the weight loss thing was a fad, I don't see how ACV makes you burn more calories LOL. But its recommended for a lot of health benefits. Not a cure-all, just a benefit. Was curious if you guys had also heard of the claim for weight loss. I highly doubt anyone drinking it will lose 10lbs a month like the claims…
  • Well, if its just me being mental then I'm totally okay with it since I've been able to stop taking my antacid and my stomach relaxer (pain) pills for the first time and not need them. It may not be the ACV, who knows, but whatever is happening I'm absolutely fine with it. :)
  • Is a running store a place like Foot RX? I'm not sure what anyone means exactly by "Running Store"
  • I started out with simple walking which bored me to tears, unless I have something to look at (unfamiliar landscape, new trail, beautiful sights, hot shirtless guy... Etc) then I hate walking as exercise (plus its not the best anyway). I started C25K recently and I love running, hooked after a few days. I'm not good at it…
  • The condition I am in my gastroenterologist says that my gallbladder won't be in bad enough shape to surgically remove for at least a few more years unless it suddenly develops an infection. So I've very likely got to live with this for 2-5+ years. As I do with the pain of my Celiac's damage, rheumatoid arthritis and…
  • I got you on that haha, I have anxiety problems too and it freaks out my doctors when my BPM is up and I'm sweaty with chills LOL. Zoloft has been my saving grace in that. (I also suffer from depression due to a chronic pain disorder)
  • Really? Periods are toxic? LOL. Well then my endometriosis must make me Satan. Good thing when I get my IUD in a few weeks I'll be free of the demons.
  • Yep lol. I have endometriosis, and its extremely painful. I haven't had an actual period in 3 months because I've been on birth control, but I have bled and cramped every single day for 3 months (lightly). Its even caused some anemia. Im getting the Mirena IUD soon, won't have to worry about periods or anything for 5 years…
  • I don't think we should oust exercise guys, its very important to your health and well being. The science is absolutely correct, calorie deficit = weight loss, but everybody needs to take part in some type of exercise a few times a week for their health. To the OP, anything that is strenuous, what really gets your heart…
  • I take Nabumetone for the inflammation, but that's all I am taking for my arthritis right now. He won't give me any pain medication, my mother has chronic pain issues and takes Tramadol every day, if I have a really bad day every couple weeks/months I'll take one of hers. My doctor knows but doesn't encourage it, I…
  • Agreed with all of you guys :) For me the most important things are things that stick. (Looks fade, souls don't) so: -Cares about his health -Is focused on the future but doesn't live in the thought of it (living in the moment when its appropriate) -Can make me laugh like a hyena, cry like a baby and smile like Ted Bundy…
  • Thank you so much :)
  • Are you kidding? Lol I'm just asking if its okay to do the program faster because I know my body and I know I could challenge myself more than the app is. I AM following the program. But today, ONE day, I did extra. And you did not even bother to attempt to answer my question.
  • I doubt it would make a difference. Though I prefer to run/walk outside. I feel like I accomplish more when I do/try harder. If you don't have a destination I would make sure you're going fast enough, compare timing when you walk outside and when you do inside and make sure you're not slowing down either way.
  • So far no lower abdomen side pain since I've been focusing on my breathing. Though today I got a little pain/discomfort tight below my ribs o the right. I slowed down and took a break and took some deep breaths, it helped but had the discomfort through the whole run. But, I did manage to finish day 2 and 3 of C25K in an…
  • Pretty close, CW: 147lbs GW: 130lbs Height: 5'5 Age: 18
  • It depends for me, I know when I need to take a day off and when I can keep going, listen to your body. :) For me, when I first started out with strength the next day I was so sore I couldn't lift up a bottle of water without crying lol. So I took a break for a day or two. Yesterday I was sore from upping my strength…
  • I'm not thinking about taking part in almost-dying as a training technique lol. I was just seeing what everyone else said about it. :) Mostly older people or all trying to be hardcore guys saying to "tough it out" and if you puke then that's not the worst and so on. Um.. yeah... no... Lol, no way I'm going to push myself…
  • We are reluctant to try any immunosuppresants and etc due to my age, we are trying the light stuff right now, unfortunately it doesn't help. My physician started me on Meloxicam first, then Diclofenac, now I am on Nabumetone. He won't prescribe anything else/different himself, we are waiting until I go to see a Pediatric…
  • People tell me this a lot and I'm like right on the line for normal/overweight according to my bmi, LOL. I'm 5'5 and 148-150lbs. I'm looking to lose 10-15lbs during my fitness/strength training journey. I'm on the higher end of the bmi, and certainly am not "too skinny". Sometimes when people say this I'd like to whip out…
  • Not very often, the chipping annoys me lol. But I paint my toes a lot, they're always painted. Usually every 1-2 weeks, until it chips. Mostly when I'm bored or if I have to go to the doctor.
  • I see a deep muscle massage therapist 1-2x per month for my arthritis and etc, for about 18 months now. I've never had actual bruising after a session, but I've had days where I would check repeatedly because I could have sworn there was a bruise there, lol (soreness). If I did get a few bruises at times, I wouldn't worry…
