  • @Sarahb29 thanks for the feedback! It's my LDL, my HDL is ok
  • @pinggolfer96 I am in the optimal weight range for my age and height currently. I lost 30 lbs this year and was 20 lbs overweight. I could probably lose another 5-10 though
  • I eat 3 eggs per day 6 days a week! I've heard things about how having a lot of eggs is bad for your cholesterol but I think that myth has been proven false...?
  • @capaul42 that is awesome!! This makes me feel better about being hungrier. Maybe it's due to the fact that I'm mostly lifting instead of splitting my exercise evenly between cardio and lifting.
  • @cwolfman13 the weeks I notice I'm just maintaining are the weeks I just eat intuitively and don't track anything. I'll also have like 2 cheat meals the weeks I'm just maintaining. So honestly I have no idea how many calories I'm intaking the weeks I don't actually track anything. Probably because I was afraid of how many…
  • I'm sure the fact that I haven't gained any weight from all that junky stuff (that I normally do not eat!) is probably my body trying to tell me something. I weigh myself every morning and it's been consistent even after my binges
  • If this helps, I've been able to maintain my weight this whole week and I've had a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's in one sitting, at least half of a large pizza from a local restaurant, and Cold Stone ice cream twice! But besides those things I've been eating healthy.
  • I'm 134 lbs so I try to eat anywhere from 100-130g of protein per day. I also hit my fiber goals almost everyday as well. I eat mostly whole foods, but I do follow macros so I allow room for foods such as granola bars and popcorn. My TDEE is apparently 2,193.
  • I started out at 163 in January and am now down to 135ish. The right pics I'm at about 138. I would love to be somewhere from 125-130! I'm a medium frame
  • Thank you guys!! And I weight train for roughly 45-60 minutes 4-5 days per week and end each lifting session with moderate cardio, such as walking 100% incline on the treadmill for half an hour. The fitness girls I follow are almost all bikini competitors, so I suppose it makes sense why they would be against a lot of…
  • I think it's great how you want to help your brother! I was shocked reading comments by people telling you to mind your own business and let the parents parent. He is your brother and you are an awesome sister for looking out for him! However I do agree that the meal plan you gave him does seem a little strict for a kid.…
  • In the same boat as you! Well I have 8 to lose. Once you reach a "normal" weight, body composition is more important. You could be losing body fat even if the scale doesn't budge! This is a hard concept for me to grasp because I tend to rely on the scale to calculate my progress. When I was overweight I lost 4 lbs per…
  • Over here! I am 5'4" and 138 lbs. I'm trying to get down to 123-128 I've lost 25 lbs so far but am struggling to get these final 10-15 lbs off! So any ladies out there that have successfully got those last few pounds off please add me
  • Are you just beginning your journey? If so, don't stress that you are going slightly over on calories. Take baby steps and be patient. :) When I first started, I just focused on measuring out my food and eating healthier foods, not just foods that fit in my calorie goal range. Then, once I became good at that, I started…
  • I've actually taken green tea in a capsule pill form. It claimed to be a "fat burner" but I believe the only two ingredients were caffeine and green tea. I took the recommended dosage for a couple weeks at a time, then stopped for a while, then took them again. I consistently lost 1 lb per week on and off the green tea…
  • Learn to take it day by day, and reflect on how far you've come!!! You are doing awesome!
  • @diannethegeek thank you Dianne for your words of wisdom! I appreciate you taking the time to type out all those suggestions :)
  • @arditarose I eat a lot of cheese because I do not enjoy meat all that much. If I eat a lot of it, I start feeling nauseous. I try to eat as much as possible, but if I want my body weight in grams of protein, I need 138 g of protein and no matter how hard I try, I cannot get myself to eat that much meat on a daily basis. I…
  • I noticed it in my stomach for sure! This was after just two weeks of my journey.
  • Eat a lot of eggs! Here is my breakfast :-)
  • Oh and I never regret going on the pill. The benefits of it make the risk of weight gain worth it. I never stopped the pill even when I thought it was the reason I was gaining weight
  • I started going on the pill 2 years ago. I gained 20 pounds and that's why I'm using this app - to try to get my old body back! When my doctor prescribed me the pill, she said weight gain is a common side effect and that I should start eating healthier and exercising. I was like pshhhh that's a rumor, cause like you I've…
  • I ate really well today, and went to the gym around 8:30, then to Walmart to get blueberries and protein bars...left Walmart with a huge Hershey's chocolate bar. Devoured the whole thing in my car! 300 calories and went over on my sugar. Tasted so good but I regret it :/ I should have eaten a small Hershey's kiss instead…
  • I just made my account today!!! I would LOVE to have friends on here. If you're reading this add me! I've been struggling with motivation to workout and diet for months now, and friends would definitely help...now that the new year is starting, it's time to get serious!
  • My tummy type is bloated! This means I need to make breakfast my biggest meal of the day...which sucks because I do not like breakfast foods other than cereal, which is what I need to avoid :/
