I am 55 but would love to add some supportive friends. I can't figure out how to add anyone though! Can some ladies add me please ? I am doing about 80% vegetarian and just joined a gym. I do yoga a few times a week and have for years but it's gentle. I have 3 kids all grown 27, 24, and 21!!

I have had almost 4!weeks to recover and digestive issues still not right ... makes me frustrated. My energy is ok but could be better.

Thank you for all the suggestions. Maybe now is a good time to get one on sale. I am recovering from surgery so think it would be a good way to get back into exercising.

I think it just takes longer. I just turned 55 and am slowly losing a little weight - have been in here a year or two now. Would love to be friends with anyone who wants to support each other. I have not been able to exercise much in past 2 months due to health issues and really want to get back on track!

I have been where you are and totally get it. Slow and easy to start sounds good like yoga. I have been doing yoga for 26 years and it truly helps me not fall apart at age 55 although now that I have gone through the "change" I find I have less energy. Would be happy to add you as a friend and we can support each other .

I too can't give up half and half in coffee. I've tried almond, coconut creamers and milk and you're right it is not as good. Also can't give up popcorn and red wine!

Is anyone out there still doing this? I have been easing towards it for a week and will start full throttle tomorrow. I read It starts withFood last year and did it for 30 days. Now I am getting the other book called The Whole 30. Any differences? Suggestions? I have an addiction to popcorn!

Do you bake the chicken breast? It does sound a wee bit boring. I cook for husband and son so doubt they'd want to eat the same thing all the time. But I can give it a shot. I do eat oatmeal sometimes for breakfast but also like egg once or twice a week. I love vegetables! My vice is popcorn and sometimes wine

I would start with gently beginner yoga but eliminate the twisting poses . Stabilizing and strengthening poses like modified bridge and knees to chest etc. access to recumbent bike or swimming would be best for back or slow walking until you are better.
