I roll with a PVC pipe before I workout. It feels amaaaaazing.

I was not in the same situation as yours but when I am giving up some junk food. I didn't went cold turkey. First thing I gave up was sugary drink like soda, fruit juice, and other drinking calories. Next, I gave up chips. The thing is to tackle one thing at the time. If you immediately cut all unhealthy food at once, the…

I workout 6 times a week and take one rest day. I get badly injured if I don't take rest.

^^THIS^^ post is great! Me, I don't like the word "toning" my apologies. Fitness magazines use this a lot to hook ladies up to do their exercises with pink weights to achieve a toned look lmao. They don't work. Anyway classes like Zumba, Barre, and all other fitness classes are cardio. They are not the most efficient way…

I agree as well with the above posts. You need to build more muscle because you are skinny (not skinny fat).

This post made me realize something (super embarrassed). How can I forget it! Well... there is this guy in my military gym. No one really caught my attention till he came in. He works out like a beast. Deadlifting super heavy in good form and his squats are amazing as well. Yes, those things distracted me but let me tell…

Protein must be the culprit then! I am lactose intolerant so I use Hydrowhey (the aminos are all broken down) and drink mostly almond milk . Besides the two things above, I consume more protein for my size (beef mostly). I like them too much! :D Thanks for the info and might actually reduce my protein intake today

Distracted? The only thing I was distracted about was their thought of me being in the weight room. As a first timer, it was my biggest fear. Their criticism of me like my form is off, and she doesn't know what she is doing thought was the one distracting me from doing my "own" thing. Years passed of weightlifting. I am…

I grow facial hair on the left side of my chin. Every two days, I have to pluck them or shave them. My other problem is I smell no matter how much I shower, drink water (I drink 1 1/2 gals a day), and how clean I eat (I incorporate a lot of veggies, fruits, and lean meat in my diet). I don't eat junk food. Anywho, I take…

The motivation it gives me is it makes me happy. Today, I felt so amazing after my workout. I was greeting front desk people nonstop lol

I looked for help by going to a Psychologist. I went through Intensive Outpatient Program were there is classes that specifically target my specific problems (three hours in total for me). I am not saying you should go on the program just letting you know that there is that stuff :) . I would go talk to therapist if you…

Before, my problem was my family telling me that I will look bulky and manly. I got this impression that I will turn into a she-hulk---> Extreme bodybuilder females. Years later I decided to educate myself and it turns out they were using enhancing drugs that's why they do not look like females anymore. Now, weight…

True! I forgot about that well I always tell myself "Abs are made in the gym but revealed in the kitchen!" :D I do love cable crunches though hehe

Yep, we cannot make you like weightlifting. You have to "like" it. I started to like it when I saw my body change faster than just doing cardio by itself. I did Zumba, body combat, and all other classes (all considered cardio). It all ended up into a disappointment till I did my research about women weightlifting. Once I…

My favorite is cable crunches

My routine varies a lot (different reps and sets) especially how heavy I can go with Dumbbells, barbells, and machines. I lift weights 6 times per week, and I do cardio every morning. My cardio consist of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) 3 times a week and the rest is Low intensity cardio. I only have one rest day.

I do not use the word toning at all. It is basically building muscle and losing the fat on top of it. Beginners can get away with gaining muscle and reduce the layer of fat at the same time. However, muscle becomes hard to obtain once you're training for years (It slows down over time). Unless, you are genetically gifted…

I love Jamie Eason too but I prefer Lee Labrada's 12 week lean body trainer. It worked so well when I used it a year ago. I want to use his template again but weights will be set a wee bit higher.
