How are you doing?

What gives me a giggle is the vision of people in workplaces getting up every hour to do 250 steps. Just not practical in some workplaces/situations. :)

A raw carrot. Surprisingly sweet. They were used instead of sugar during WW2.

The cold weather seems to have arrived here already :| so I'm not waiting until October. I've started going through the autumn/winter clothes that are too big now. Again some of it will go to charity shops, some the recycling centre and some ebay. Very therapeutic. :)

You can get mini exercise bikes that would fit under your desk. Basically it's just the pedal part of the bike. Your office chair would act as the saddle part. Make sure you have room for your knees to move.

I might have said this before, or somebody else probably will have said it. This is a journey. One day you will wake up and the pain will be less. Then one day you will wake up and the pain will have gone. I woke up a few months ago and a niggling pain in my right hip was gone. I still wake up and wait for it to start, but…

And the 20lbs off already shows in your face.
-
Google what 5lbs of fat looks like. It's amazing - and you've lost 4 of those.

2 chocolate weetabix, 220 ml of dark chocolate Alpro soya 'milk', water. The only way I've found so far of having my daily requirement of iron and a lot of the daily requirement of calcium.

I wondered that as well, so went to the Help section at the top of the page. Here is what it says: "To add an image to a post, from the web, you can just drag the picture from your desktop or folder into the open space of the post and it should automatically upload. Alternatively you can click on the icon that looks like a…

How long have you been trying?
-
Keep posting here. We are very interested in following your progress.
-
There are some walking videos on You Tube you could try.
-
Once you actually get outside and close the front door you'll be amazed at how good you feel just walking. You'll eventually find yourself going for longer and longer distances and actually looking forward to going out.

I've lost 57 kg since last October. The food barcode scanner on the MFP phone app has been the most useful thing as it keeps track of your calories. I also use the MFP website and the Fitbit phone app and website, plus Map My Walk. They all sync. This week I started doing some Fitbit Challenges and they have spurred me on…

Done today and it was very therapeutic. I took summer stuff with labels on to a charity shop and some to a recycling centre. I still have some winter clothes with labels on. I'll bring those to a charity shop in October. They only keep stock for 2 weeks so there is no point bringing it now. I've ended up with lots of free…

June 23 - 9184 steps, 5.53 km Steps included many through a flood to get to a polling station for the EU Referendum. There was torrential rain and thunder and lightning here last night. It was like the end of the world rather than the possible end of the EU.
