I did 2 honest-to-god pull-ups, unassisted... something I haven't done in 6 years! Amazing, the lighter you get the more you can do... this has probably been my biggest accomplishment so far.

They trick your metabolism into thinking sugar is on its way. This causes your body to pump out insulin, the fat storage hormone, which lays down more belly fat.... at least that's what I've read.

I eat a protein bar every morning with a cup of coffee and sometimes a piece of fruit. Holds me over until lunch... Not sure how protein could be bad for you at any time of the day...

I've done it both ways and I prefer cardio 2nd as it seems I tire myself out if I start with it. Some will say it gets the blood flowing to help with weightlifting if you start off with cardio. I believe it's a matter of preference and probably has no real bearing on weight loss...

Chicken breast, broccoli or asparagus, brown rice and quinoa... all of that heats up nice in the microwave. I typically use a ziploc bag to heat veggies in the microwave as it steam cooks them. Throw on some lemon juice and seasoning and voila!

Try not to make WHAT you're eating the issue but rather how much of it you are eating. On my weekends I was eating junk food and drinking a six pack of beer a night, and not the watered down stuff, the micros with all the calories.
