This may be boring or tedious to some but I plan to eat the same things for breakfast and lunch, I’ll prep 7 days of egg cups and taco salad. Keeps me on track and helps me focus on “eat to live” not “live to eat”.

Thank you both @baconslave and @alliwan I remember fighting with the nutritionist the last time I was pregnant and will certainly keep in mind the under 100g. If I can avoid insulin again I’m all for it! A diet consisting of mostly meat, veggies and dairy does sound better than low carb high fat to most doctors haha.

I’m in! Before I got pregnant with my daughter I didn’t count calories or even carbs that much and lost about 50lbs in 6 months. I’ve already switched over to not logging every day. I’ll plug in a meal plan at the beginning of the week just to check the carbs and then go on my merry way ^_^ Good luck everyone!

I used to suffer from severe vertigo for years, I would have to drop to the floor or I’d fall over. Eventually we figured out the crystals in my inner ears were in the wrong spots. I went to a therapist who performed something called the Epley manoeuvre and I haven’t had a serious episode since. You can also look it up on…

I’m on my second round of Keto too! August 2016 I threw out all of the carbs sugar laden foods in our house and stocked up on good fats, protein and low carb vegetables. 6 months in and everything was going great I was down almost 50lbs! I wanted to do this forever! Everything came screeching to a halt when I found out I…

I have short term weight goals 25-50lbs at a time, but no magic number on the scale, if I get below 200lbs I’ll reassess then, as I would have lost 150lbs.

Ugh I get this so much, I’ve lost 32lbs and still don’t see any evidence of it, last time it wasn’t until I was almost 50lbs I saw a difference in the mirror

I love this thread! My husband and I are gearing up for a spring clean again and I’m so excited to start decluttering and organizing. I’ve already decluttered 30lbs off my body.

One of my greatest resources when starting my Keto journey was listening to the 2ketodudes podcast and being active on their forum, they even have guests like Dr Jason Fung and the author of BigFat Surprise. They both used Keto to combat Type 2 Diabetes and Carl reversed his diagnosis in 6 months or so (sorry I can’t…

Pink salad - cottage cheese, cool whip, strawberry flavoured jello and diced strawberries. It’s really a dessert but counts as salad at our family reunions.

Chicken breasts liberally coated with taco seasoning baked at 400 covered for 30 minutes along with 1/2 cup cooked rice, 1/2 cup corn, 1/2 cup black beans and salsa to taste, once chicken is cooked through, top with shredded cheese and broil until melted.

Not a book per se but I learned so much listening to the 2ketodudes podcast and they have a huge online forum. Ketogenicforum.com

All of my recipes are in a book called Keto in 28, I usually meal prep for the week on Sundays. This week I made taco beef, egg and bacon muffins, chocolate cheesecake, cauliflower soup and peanut butter smoothies.

Welcome to Ketoland! I’m back to this WOE way of eating after having a baby. I’ve had success before, losing almost 50lbs in 4 months. I started with a book called Keto in 28 by Michelle Hogan. I’d also recommend the 2ketodudes if you listen to podcasts and the Ketogenicforum.com and ruledme.com websites. Happy to help…

Friends are always good, I post regularly and have and open diary. I follow a Keto diet and have at least 100+ to lose. Add me :)

Hi! Feel free to add me, I did Keto for about 6 months before getting pregnant and am back to this WOE to lose this baby weight and the weight I still had from before. I have an open food diary and keep my macros at 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs. I would recommend Keto in 28 by Michelle Hogan if you want an easy start…
-
Wow great job! You look happy in your first picture but you look ecstatic in the second one.
-
I may have the unpopular opinion here but I’ve found Keto to be the best WOE for me. As a recovering binge eater it’s the only plan that helped control my cravings.
-
Great job :)

Low carb here too! Net carbs under 20g a day, always looking for friends and new recipes!
