No one knows the long term effects of Raspberry Ketones. I wouldn't take them.

My step goal is 12,000. Currently at 11, 471. Close but unlikely to reach it today.

Chocolate or cake with icing. A couple squares of dark chocolate (85% or 90% cocoa) is a fully satisfying substitution for me. I have dark chocolate almost every evening after dinner as a part of my daily calorie allowance

Wow @rombley347. That step count is awesome for someone with a sprained ankle. I'm glad your ankle is improving. Remember to ice it at the end of exercise and at the end of the day. Great job!!

My daily step goal is 12,000; completed 10682. Calories burned from exercise - 548. How's the sprained ankle coming along rombley347? @beverlyriley900 - you are doing well. The only reason I am able to do so many steps is I am currently at home and have no little little ones to look after.

Add me too please. I enjoy encouraging others to meet their goals and could use some support myself.

Of late I hate plain water - don't know why. I use lime juice from time to time but lately I have been drinking club soda flavoured with True lime, True lemon or True orange (all from crystallised fruit) . They are very convenient and it does encourage me to drink more.

My step goal today is 12000. Did 15000 yesterday and would like to keep it up but its just not practical. It took 2.5 hours of walking / working out to get there. Because I like weight training and water aerobics my main focus tends to be calories burned for the day, not necessarily through working out (housework and…

I work out at the gym with my husband on Tuesdays and Thursdays at about 6 am when most people have already finished working out. On Saturdays, we work out somewhere between 8 and 9 am. I also do aqua aerobics most weekday mornings or swim laps. I try and work out in the mornings to get it out of the way. In theory, I walk…

My ultimate goal is to beat diabetes, heart disease and hypertension, all of which run strongly in my family. I am on the brink of all of these and am determined to beat them without drugs as far as possible. The wonderful consequences of beating these with diet and exercise is a normal weight with a toned body; "side…

Okay, its the end of the day for me. I pushed myself and danced around for an hour tonight resulting in a total of 11522 steps for today and a total of 2085 calories burned; 505 from jumping around tonight. Yeah!! @rombley347, thanks for being so encouraging. So how did you do today?

My daily step goal is 7,500. It used to be 10,000 but I almost never made that goal (I almost am only active during structured exercise. I have been trying of late to just get up and march in place from time to time while watching TV. Today I have done 5748 steps (77% of goal). Not too bad since Sunday tends to be a…

Start: 144.4 Week 1: 145.4 Arggh! Not being as strict about keeping away from processed foods and exercising less due to rainy weather (that's my story and I'm sticking to it). I'll do better.

Great Work!!

I am a chocoholic so I have two squares of Lindt dark chocolate, 85% cocoa almost everyday after dinner - fixes me right up!

Yep. 56. Used to enjoy weight training, but just starting back and hate having to use much lighter weights than before. I have dropped sucrose and was using dextrose in my black bean brownies. However, dextrose is only two thirds as sweet as sucrose but is isocaloric so I end up having to use more to attain the same level…

I'm really happy to see this challenge today. Started low carb high fat at the end of April along with regular walking and other exercise and have lost about 18lbs. Unfortunately weight loss has come to almost a standstill and I still have 20 lbs to go. Looking forward to the teamwork and encouraging each other

Hi gerryfox. I would love to join you in the journey. I am also over 55 (56 actually), female and had 40 lbs to lose at the beginning of my weight loss journey. Since April 22 I have lost about 17 pounds through diet and exercise. Currently I go to the gym 2 - 3 times a week, do aqua aerobics 5 days a week and walk for…
