Calorie deficit is what works no matter what programme they all equal out to putting in a calorie deficit just they make these fancy ways n names up so you spend money on there stuff

depends where u start off really but leaner u are or start of at I would say 8 weeks to start see the really changes come through

You also don’t need Keto or fasting etc all that matters is been in a caloric deficit and get those macronutrients and micronutrients hit :)

Weigh everything tbh and double check the labels before putting it in here as some ppl put the wrong cals in etc you also may need to have a refeed to bump up leptin levels and metabolism:)

I’ve just upped my water in take today from 3ltrs to 6 lol flush my self out cause I know I’m holiding a fair bit of water ...so hoping this will release the water rentention

I’m experiencing this myself atm it’s weird most of my fat apart from the low abdominal area are feeling squishy and like there is marbles under my skin my measurements are dropping every few weeks but scale is not really moving and now I know why ....so hang in there keep doing what use are doing the scale will catch up…

That’s way to fast he will be losing muscle aswell as fat he needs to find his maintenance calories n drop them 10 to 20% get sufficient protein and fibre aswell as micronutrients to many ppl rush this process I was one of those ppl honest it’s true when it comes to fat loss slow and steady wins the race :) should be 1 to…

Agreed! Lol instead of cheat days n binging like I used to I just put in few sweet treats with each meal etc helps me stay in the zone plus been type 1 diabetic binging was destroying me I am 4 weeks currently with no falling of the wagon just 8 weeks dieting to go lol :smiley:

lift weights eat in a deficit get sufficient protein in you will lean down nicely n have that athletic look lots of pics in here of ppl who have achieved that just keep been consistent you will get there :)

To be honest fat loss is measured in inches not lbs but don’t get me wrong the scale is a good guideline but it can mess with your head...I’ve been in a deficit all week same as week before yet last weeks average was down 1.4lbs this weeks is near enough a .5lb loss so half lb yet my measurements are down lol ....that been…

Type 1 for over year also so carbs or insulin ain’t making ppl fat it’s to many calories ...CICO just the way the body works n some ppl can’t get that lol

FACTS I eat 260g carbs everyday n been honest some are from healthy foods rest are junk lol that’s way I sustain my caloric deficit tho with a balanace

Oh and I forgot to say I’m a type 1 diabetic have been since Oct 2016 n I’ve got from 16 stone to 12 stone 6lbs currently and still cutting ..and I’m eating junk food every single along with healthy food CICO does work no matter what illness yes it can make it hard but it works it’s just how the body works FACTS

CICO that’s what counts low carb high carb what ever it boils down to calories in vs out so u could of lost that weight by not doing keto and by just tracking calories fitting in so called junk foods etc but good going either way

calorie deficit regardless of it been junk or not you need to be in a deficit ..you could do this eating all macdonalds but it’s not recommended
