I found that I'd got both my Zwift Account & Garmin Account linked to MFP. MFP used to be able to handle this and only recorded the activity once, but has now started recording both. So simply disconnecting the Zwift -> MFP link has stopped the double count. My Zwift rides are now uploaded to Garmin Connect which in turn…

Thanks for your replies, I think I'm set up with my Zwift ride going in to Garmin Connect and then in to here. i don't record my ride directly on my Garmin. It has been fine for the last couple of years, only started duplicating recently and I haven't changed any settings.

I posted about this yesterday, got about 7. The funniest thing is to check out which of your real friends has accepted their requests, dirty dogs...

Hi, just click through to somebodies profile, then click on 'Add Friend' button.

Well done Emma, that is incredible!

Two points to my answer: 1. Whenever I see someone who is overweight doing some exercise I only feel admiration. So yes, I might look, but my thoughts will be positive. 2. Not sure how old you are, but I'm assuming younger than me (49). I used to care what strangers thought of me. Now I couldn't care less. This is a much…

This is a big struggle for me, if I'm just relaxing watching some tv, my two solutions are: - Do some exercises, crunches, press-ups etc. Nothing major, but it's normally enough to help the cravings pass. - Go to bed I do like 88olds solution, and this isn't a problem if I've been exercising during the day as I will have…

Hi there, I've also recently re-started my journey. I lost quite a bit a while ago, but then over a couple of holidays and a few months of being lazy, i managed to put most of it back on. I'm doing ok for the first few weeks, lost a few pounds and looking to lose a whole lot more. Really back in to my exercise which helps…

I'm sure that you'll be doing your old loop by the summer. Good luck!

Personally I do this: "Rest as long as you need to such that you feel good to complete the next set." Some days I feel better and don't need very long rests, other days when I'm not really feeling it I take a little longer. If you can easily monitor your heart rate, that is often a good indicator of your recovery.

Exercise is key, the fitter you are the more energy you will have. I also sleep better after exercising and so feel less tired the next day. If I have exercised I am also less likely to eat badly, just because I'm in the right frame of mind. It doesn't have to be a trip to the gym either. A 20 minute walk or 15 minute…

Not a hijack, hopefully helpful: I'd like to hear peoples thoughts on vitamin supplements. A friend of mine says that when he's taking them his cravings really reduce. I take one each morning (just a multi-vitamin), but don't think it makes any difference to me.

Personally I'd wait until I really wanted to do it, much more likely to be successful.

Unless you smoke...

I find that when I first start off I'm thinking about the fact that I'm on a diet so often that it makes me hungry. After a couple of weeks I'm in the groove and don't even think about it. I still occasionally get cravings, but if it's for something sweet I try to eat a pear or some melon etc. I also use fruit at strategic…

Thank you........

Keep up the good work, a 2 week stall isn't anything to worry about, it will soon start to drop off again. :D Is that really a thing???

Everybody has bad days, the main thing is to not use that as an excuse for another one. Just pick back up and drive onwards.

1 inch reduction on your waist means that you've lost much more than 1lb of fat. Your muscles are just switching back on, so they are offsetting the effects of the fat losses. In my opinion, if you keep things going the way that you are you will see bigger reductions in the next few weeks.

Pretty much perfect, congratulations!

Welcome back and best of luck with your goals. Everything is achievable if you really want it.

Are your calorie numbers definitely right? I'm a similar size to you and mine are much lower than that. Losing I'm at about 1,900 per day.
-
It will definitely get better the more you get used to it. Consider a protein shake or something similar after exercising. Obviously this will be some of your calorie intake, but it helps me get through to lunch without snacking.

I really can't remember what triggered me. I've been overweight for a years, but really can't remember what the final straw was. Just glad that it happened.
-
Good luck!

Which this one obviously doesn't.

There's a place in the UK called Scunthorpe, I love it when filters change that... :)

Blimey, I mis-read that subject... :o

Hi there, what is your journey like in terms of timeline and weight loss?
-
I don't care what you say, Viagra definitely makes it harder... >:) PS. I know what you're saying, but I'm struggling to get anything out of my current diet. Two years ago I lost 30lbs, since then I've put back about 14 of them. I'm monitoring my calories exactly how I did the first time, if anything I'm actually eating…
