Oh my Mike sounds like nasty miserable weather. Very very brief shower spit overnight but should be upper 60s later today and maybe 75 deg tomorrow and possibly lo 70 deg on Wed too. Glad you are feeling better today Bill. Nice that showers are letting up. I know you have had the brunt of wet weather. Yup we need to put…

We are awaiting our one 70degree plus day on Tuesday. Probably 60s Monday and Wednesday. Been cold chilly and sprinkly lately. Glad ya got out Lee for a short hike. Oh Dave didn't know you went to Presbyterian Church. My wife is Presbyterian so we go to a historic local one out in the country near where we live. Still has…

OMG Lee no need for us to tell ya to be more careful 'cuz ya already know that. So glad it wasn't worse. Oh Steve glad you found the ticks. Got out for an early ride which was dry for the first 1/2 or so and rainy the last entire 1/3 of the ride anyway. going to be very wet today and the next few. Probably could mix my…

Wow Mike that's great fishing and catching. I was too tired to mow the lawn yesterday and it isn't too bad. did get some iron (sluggo) on the peas to discourage slugs and did some kitchen chores. Hey Steve good luck w that rib. I find too that changes in the weather can aggravate "old war wounds" like broken ribs etc. glad…

Some more spring showers headed this way.Not too much today. Just over 0.25 inch overnight of gentle showers. Did hit 60 deg yesterday. A bit harder getting going in the a.m. w daylight saving time. Have fun on the ice Mike. Our local pond (aka "lake") never had thick enough ice to venture on it this year. Glad our taxes…

Yikes Mike sorry about your piano teacher falling and sending Ts and Ps their way. My Sun a.m. WW zoom workshop started 45 minutes late today. Nice quiet ride early. Gosh Sam hang in there w Joanne and the oxygen issues. Mexican food sounds great. Hang in there all w various maladies and pains!!
-
Also praying for Mike's piano teacher. Pulled pork sounds great Dave. Have fun with the young-uns playing board games. Had nice ride this a.m. upper 30s to about 60deg today in PDX. Heal up everyone and enjoy what weather comes your way.

Bill: Hope your Kidney CT gets scheduled (HRMPH) and goes without a hitch. Spring is around us but it was 31 deg this a.m. On my side of town the last frost is about April 7th or so. Daffodils blooming all around, Crocuses and some early trees starting too. My peas look good a couple of inches tall. Sending Ts and Ps for…

Gosh I hope Collin hangs in there w his job. Gosh Sam that sound ridiculous about your prescription supplies. Mike: Hope your piano teacher is ok. I am w you Dave better to have someone else jab my wife than me. We just finished having an electrican remove all the ballasts from our kitchen lighting and replace the…

Yeah I had a CT scan w contrast of my head and neck once. Guess they saw something between my ears and alas no carotid artery issues when done. Salmon fillets sound great Lee! Wow Mike that does sound remote and cooooold. indeed!! Good luck everyone with test and treatments.

Had the BIGGEST gully washer downpour ever in my decades of Oregon residency. Follwed later by lightning thunder heavy rain and wind gusts up to 50 mph which took out the power around 4 pm. We expected the outage to last til noon Tuesday but got it back around midnight. Tens of thousands of folks did lose power in Oregon.…

Yup poured some yesterday here w some local flooding. Rained cats and dogs an hour ago. Prayers for Joanne, Sam Bill and Lee for sure and everybody ailing or in pain. Off for short walk in the lighter rain.

Lee: It was Bill not Bob that had a small bladder spot when examined. I had no issues that way. The "monsoon" atmospheric river ("pineapple express") is just starting. I got in nice bike ride today before it started. I have mostly been able to survive with my knees. Hang in there all with pains and more.
-
Gosh hand in there Bill. Glad the bladder is mostly ok w just a bit of radiation spot in it. Can;t imagine all you are going thru. I have made some dent on my taxes and will probably do a bit more today at least on my work sheets. Brrr Steve brrrrr. going to have beaucoup rain here starting tonight but on the mild side as…

Hang in there Lee. Glad you are doing OK and going home. My son is doing so much better with his artificial hip these days. Oh gosh Bill I hope the tests aren't too bad. Good to have blood work done and thankful mine was better than we expected. Yup I soaked peas overnight in tepid water and put into a jar with a damp…

Indeed Joanne and Sam ar atop my prayer list too. Our snow turned to freezing rain w a touch of sleet but mostly freezing rain that coated less than 0.1" so really just added a bit of crust to the texture of the snow. that was followed later by another inch or two of snow. I mentioned yesterday that DW and I had great fun…
-
Oh Sam I could hardly imagine what you are going thru w DW. Well we probably had about 3&1/2" to 4" of snow since yesterday. Since most residential roads aren't treated or plowed at all schools were cancelled. Also no way to pick up any kids that doesn't involve some sort of hills. You may have seen the 100 vehicle pile up…

Well snow came to PDX starting at 7:38 a.m. snowing steady w blowing winds which could gust later to 40 MPH. Very steady snow. Hope we don't get freezing rain atop the snow turning it into what I call crusty "creme brulee" . Just snow would be sooooo much better. Not as cold here as Olympia/Tumwater but we could get some…

Sorry about your results Lee. Happens. Yup hoping that Mary stays mostly ahead of the snow. Yes prayers for Joanne and Sam. Sickness and cancer indeed be gone or at least at bay. Yeah I get you Bill and the solitude thing. the Super Bowl affair next door was waay to busy and I ate too much. I was mostly rooting for the…

Yup Lee good travels. So how many biscuits to the mile do ya get traveling> haha. We had hard water years ago in Calif but we all had water softeners for the house which helped. Wow SAM! Taxes done and money going from Sam to Uncle Sam? Is that "keeping it in the family?? Sorry that Joanne stills has fever. Sending Ts and…

Guess I have been AWOL a couple of days. I was pleased that my PSA results seemed to be much better than expected and without having to do the hormone therapy. Think I mentioned that. Yup safe travels Bill . You always miss your mom or dad no matter how old when passing. Don't do too much Steve with the snow stuff. I think…

I too hope the new meds do the trick for Rita. Gosh I'd hate to have to stick my DW but if it works well bless! RE Connie I guess in general I would trust the eye doc (Ophthalmologist) over a GP any day for the possibility of diabetic changes in the eye. They see those conditions every day. I guess I would listen to both…

Sam: glad Joanne is feeling better indeed. 26deg here this a.m. frosty early bike ride on my winter bike w studded tires for the icy bridges . Maybe snow tonight? Who knows?? did hae a teensy bit of graupel/soft hail yesterday for a few moments. some tiny amt of snow up in the hills above 1000'. Sending good TS and Ps to…

Steve hate to say but 4-6 months seems about right. Been there and DW too. Glad the Collin is doing OK with his job. Wow Dave 2 " nice. Just a dozen tiny wet snow flakes at my house. Some ice but not much. Low 40s here later today. Stay warm all.
-
Our temp has plummeted down from 50 deg yesterday down to about 35-36 deg this a.m. We both slipped a bit unexpectedly on a bit of wetland bridge. DW fell but had lots of clothes on so probably ok. I slid but stayed up. We quit trying to go more on that icy bridge. couple of icy spots in street but ok. Made weight at WW…

Late to the party. Hang in there Sam with DMIL and sending prayers to your DW. Yeah Bill me too I drink my coffee black (as we say in our neck of the woods) no cream or sugar added. Well after a record setting 18 days in a row of no rain in the month of January we got back to the wet weather and our temp zoomed up to 50…

Oh Steve I can't even imagine what connie is dealing with. Sending lots of prayers her way. Yesterday hit 52 degrees in PDX after a start around 25 deg. Today it's dropped to at least 24 degrees and was a nippy ride for me. Yup as Dave says a slight chance of snow or snow mixed coming up around Monday-ish. Sorry about that…
