Pianos are just not fun to move for sure. Safe travels Dave. MY DW got pretty sick from the anesthesia for a lumpectomy and also for the mastectomy too. Hey lots of Ts and Ps for all and their loved ones.

Steve. Good luck getting the door handle and brakes fixed. Wow Mike sorry about all the drought and dry conditions on the East Coast. Glad you found a nice piano!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife Sam. Yup no bomb cyclone issues here either. Really less than normal somewhat gusty winds. Plenty of rain…

We ended up getting upwards of 2" of graupel mixed with hail on the roads near my house yesterday. Some folks did get some snowflakes at times too. Kinda a wild weather day. Yeah we are getting the same weather prediction as Dave with the higher wind gusts probably just offshore and some in the foothills. We might possibly…

Yup Seahawks pulled one off against the SF 49ers. I agree the ducks lack the luster of a number one team but then the also-rans have lost games. Finally the Ducks have a bye week to recuperate and get ready for Washington (never an easy game) Lee's pheasant soup sounds great for us peasants teehee. Glad ya made some money…

Yea Lee I like that quotation. My condolences added too for Babe's litter mate. All my dogs have been sweethearts and my cats too. Lots of Ts and Ps for your DW Sam and her upcoming biopsies. Glad you got an offer on your old place Bill and good luck hunting (for homes not pheasants) in Florence. Wow not familiar with…

Oh my leaves falling like crazy. Put a bunch of dry ones just before the rains and drop them off a free leaf drop site on Saturday. Also was able to mulch in some leaves with a lawn mower before the rains too. Fair amount of rain last couple of days adding up to almost 1.5" so glad I got some leaves up before the rains.…

Dave is smart about watching returns out here. We voted in a drop box and also had signed up for notification that our vote was received. I have no interest in spending too much time watching "early returns". We have stuff recorded to watch. Oh my coffee timer not working. YIKES. Sadly I push a button first thing in the…

Lee: Sounds like Colorado has your name on it!! Gosh Lee ya always have to see a man about a dog. It's what ya do. Yup Dave enjoyed the Ducks playing in the big house but the Seahawks? eh not so much. At least I have started back on my bike a bit. Cheers.

We loved loved loved staying at Honeyman State Park and experiencing the Oregon Dunes National Recreational Area. I didn't realize it goes for about 40 miles and. is the largest expanse of Dunes in North America. Also one of the largest Dunes in temperate climate. Great memories for sure!! I really haven't ridden a decent…

Back from Depoe Bay on Oregon Coast. a "TON" of rain there (over 2 inches on Saturday for sure) Nice wave crashing watching and good times celebrating DW's big 80 BD. She really is just a kid at heart!! We got over 1.33 inches in the storm From Friday to Sunday at our house in Beaverton near PDX and over .94 inches in one…

Yup add my good luck wishes too for you and your "girls" Lee at the trials. Ooooh 91 y/o Fred. Hmmm I'd be hiking slowly too Mike. Glad ya got out. We too are expecting some real rain this week-end in the PacNW. We do need it though. We will be in Depoe Bay which will be especially rainy and windy. Ah Steve ya gotta love…

More comments on stuff. Sorry about the bear destroying your pigeon coop and pigeons Lee. Glad you have a new DVM too. Congrats on the 100th anniversary of Field trials too. I was afraid Oregon might be #1 in College Football as everyone will be pointing to them now. Of course like Dave I was rooting for them to win and…

Been AWOL for awhile whilst down in Claremont and recovering. Sadly I too have a back issue right now. I bumped myself a bit slightly bruising my hip and tweaking my back. I did PT for my pesky shoulder anyway and seemed mostly ok with that. I slightly stepped up the shoulder PT bands before I left for Claremont which was…

Gosh Bill a great town indeed. AS a kid we loved going to Laguna Beach from Claremont. Funny but I actually slept on a surf board in San Clemente one time. We visit the Botanic Garden now known as the California Botanic Garden (formerly Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden) every year and have joined as Acorn members. My dad…

Wow bill I didn't know Claremont was in your old stomping grounds. I am flying to So Cal on Thursday to visit Claremont where I grew up (mostly grew up anyway). doing my annual "Dino Dinner" (ok not actually T.rex ribs) at the Raymond Alf museum which we are fortunate enough to be associated with and have traveled the…

Wow Lee great photo and my oh my 7 miles is a lot of hiking about on the shoots. Yup Dave Oregon one a nail-biter down to zero seconds to go in beating Ohio State 32-31. OMG Ohio State QB slides down just 1/2 second or so after the clock ran out. Game Over!!

I had a similar experience to Lee with my one good Chiropractor I went to who was a Dr for the us Olympic Team. Nothing excessive but did the trick for both my stiff neck and a leg issue. He doesn't live here now. Big Game today Oregon #3 vs Ohio State #2 at Oregon's home of Autzen Stadium. Noise will be unbearable echoing…

Wow Bill looks like ya ready to go with all those PODS etc. Nice. football was great for Oregon beating Michigan State and Washington beating Michigan. Lots of shake ups in the Ap poll especially with the Vanderbilt Commodores beating Alabama. First time in 64 tries they beat a top 5 rated team. Went from 0-63 to 1-64 now.…

yup Nice weather for Florence. Vegas is... well Vegas hot. a That is just ridiculous Lee. I too don't like the way various intake nurses or whomever ask there dumb questions from a script ignoring all known facts. My hands get too cold too easily and then don't work right. I use to soak them sometimes in warm/hottish water…

Well bumped myself out before finishing my replies. Gosh Sam you can't heal your shoulder, hand and elbow up any too soon. I feel for ya. Ts and Ps. Glad you got the HOT dog back up on its feet Lee. At least my version of the eye CIN is not invasive as confirmed several times now so no additional treatment needed. Just…

Wow Sam sounds like quite the ordeal with the shoulder. Glad all went well in Salem for ya Dave. Even when expected life changes are a time of introspection. I miss the most of having conversations with my parents. Hang in there Bill and tell yourself "self pace your self!" Easy to say. Oh I am having an appointment with…

Oh gosh sending my best Ts and Ps for Connie. Recording the Wisconsin Alabama(4) football game for DW who is a Wisconsin Alum and watching the Ducks (Oregon) play the Oregon State Beavers. I had a boss who use to say regarding counter-tops etc "there isn't enough horizontal space in the world). I too can have trouble…

Yes 9/11 was a day burned in to my memory. I was on heavy narcotics at home nursing my welded together broken back (fused t4-t7) when I saw the second plane come in live. A solemn remembrance for sure. Gosh I am smelling the biscuits, Chicken Fried Steak, and gravy thru my computer screen in Oregon.... OMG!!! Good luck for…

WHEW Bill! I was thinking, hoping and praying that the scan was OK. My Radiation Oncologist has warned me about the not unheard of spurious PSA readings and possible elevations. Hey Dave best of luck singing in church. Suppose to be more moderate today w heat. A bit of high level smoke/haze but "ok" at ground level.

OK OK it was more of a spiral shaped pasta and cheese but the good part was having it baked in a wood fired oven. My wife stabbed my hand with a fork several times as I tried to "steal" some more bites of that delectable dish in Madagascar which she ordered. They were out of potatoes au gratin but had this "pasta au…
