Water aerobics, medicine ball routine

Friends. My only "friend" is my husband. It allows us to copy a meal from each other. It's easier to adjust portions than log homemade food.

I'm enjoying the free trial for running. No credit card is needed at sign up. Try it!

I signed up for the trial. No credit card needed. I ended up with several PRs on the outdoor run (audio) and I enjoyed 2 treadmill runs as well. Looking forward to trying some more categories. Not sure if I'll use past the trial. I already have 2 gym memberships. 🙊

Only produce after dinner. Don't want produce? Then I'm not that hungry after all.

I work out at 5:30am every weekday and have for 2.5 years. Keys to my success: 1. Techno music 2. Some movement is better than none. Sometimes I "trick" myself with the promise that a walk will suffice, usually I end up with more effort than that 3. Accountability partner (s). If I didn't post something on Strava I would…

I attempted to start running years ago and this hip pain stopped me. I started taking Barre classes and my hips strengthened a lot so I decided to try running again last year. The pain is gone. Even if you don't try barre, Google some exercises to strengthen hips.

Because I feel my best when I am active.

Gym before work to lift and 30 min cardio. Usually that's 5 times a week. Haven't missed a work day since started that Aug 2017. Barre class 3x week Pilates class 1x week Bootcamp 1x week Yoga 2x week 12k steps a day minimum I feel antsy on days I can't get my second workout in.

3 feet of snow in my yard and the piles by the sidewalk are over my head. But we did make it above freezing for the first time since January. Spring is coming!

Classes. For me the extra accountability of my classmates gets me to workout in the evenings. Also I don't have to think about what I'm going to do, or listen to. I just show up and the instructor takes us through a great workout.

I struggle with this so much. In the past week a co-worker called me skinny. I was stunned. And then someone at barre class asked for nutrition advice. Again stunned. I hope time will help, but I've been at basically the same weight for a year now.
-
I hit the gym for weights and cardio in the am and attend an exercise class most evenings. Try it, your body will let you know if you over did it through soreness and/or exhaustion.

-
60 min Barre 5 mile jog on treadmill
-
Lifted this am. Then 30 min treadmill. 60 min Barre this evening.

Saturday was rest day so I hiked our old pup 2.5 miles at a sniff every tree pace. It was great to be out in the snow letting him explore.

Enough for what? There's no shame in gradually increasing fitness time. You are probably more likely to stick with it too.

Local studio had a gratitude workout: 45 min barre, 30 min yoga. Then 5K Turkey Trot.

Husband and I started going to the gym at 530 am about 18 months ago. Haven't missed a work day since. For me the key was getting the workout in and not having a late meeting as an excuse. This fall, I started going to classes at a small studio in the evening. The key to consistency is the smallness which feels like a…

Met a friend for coffee to go. Ended up walking and talking for 6.5 miles. Then hit up Pilates class.

I use cardio for Barre classes.

I'm not familiar with those apps I use gym boss which is basically an internal timer. I set up the intervals to be the exercise I want. The most frequently used one for me is 2.5 min and then a buzzer so I up either speed or incline making the workout steadily more difficult.

I purchased a 50L hiking backpack a little over a year ago. I use it for my laptop, lunch, coffee and work out clothes, water bottle. Occasionally I have some other items that need to be transported, there's a little extra room. It handles all these things without feeling overstuffed. I also like that it has a built in…

Another teacher. I am too tired at the end of the day to go to the fun consistently. Plus there's so many meetings and committees that mess up my after school schedule. I'm really good at using those as an excuse not to workout. This school year I started before school and I love it! I've haven't missed a day yet - and…

Cardio or weights first? If I'm doing both in the same session I do weights first. I haven't found my cardio to be reduced after.
-
I often hit the gym for lifting and/or cardio in the morning and then hike 3-5 miles with our dog in the evening. Those are for me and my family. Some days I then hit a yoga class or go to the climbing gym with friends.
-
I prefer not to use handles for the reasons noted above.
-
Chained up for a night hike this evening.

I do Mon-Fri.
