For GPS without having to carry a phone and water proof tech, I went with Garmin. I had a vivosmart hr+. I later upgraded to vivoactive hr. I'd def definitely recommend either. Give one a shot for a week, take it back to store and try another. That's how I made my decision.

Don't forget the cycling shorts (chamois) -- if you don't already own a few pair. That butt-pad (as I call it) is a godsend.

I like the ideas w/ coffee though. I never thought of that.

Hope, determination, and gas-x. Oh -- and water.

@Tapout112009, we may as well call you Steve Austin! For the sake of the gainz to come, I imagine your body was like, "We can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better, stronger, faster." I guess all you need now is this shirt and a shave (keep the stache) ...

Are exceptions made for Sex Panther? It's illegal in nine countries and made with bits of real panther, but I it's been know to help with muscle cramping during yoga and high rep circuit training.

If you have the money to spend, go for it. You can still lose weight and work hard in the gym w/out them. However, like others have mentioned, it's a neat sense of accomplishment being able to see a measure of your efforts in between weigh-in's. I've used the Garmin Vivosmart HR+ and later upgraded to the Garmin Vivoactive…

I hope to be able to not feel about donuts the way a person might feel about a mister/mistress that she/he can't bring her/himself to leave. I know that I need to not cheat my results and that loving them as much as I do is wrong. Still, sometimes, I don't wanna be right. One day ... I'll get there. o:)

The "new" donuts that Dunkin' and Crispy Creme make every day always seem to catch my eye. Although I've not had one in ages, I fantasize about them often -- most times to old tunes by Marvin Gaye or Teddy Pendergrass.

Exactly! Shucks, let ME lose 30 lbs ... won't be able to tell me nothin'!

Relapse spurs me on to yet more relapse. It's a slippery slope that is so delicious to tumble down. Since climbing back up is always the pits, I stay away from the edges. There be dragons!

I got nothin'.

I also have issues with lactose. Muscle Milk gives me no problems.

Clementine oranges sliced dipped in hot sauce.

True @Ironandwine69. I should've said *sometimes*, as I can only speak for me. So, in my case, it was ignorance. Cheesesteaks were not the way to go. I'm sure I could've gone with something more sensible.
-
Ignorance can definitely lead to eating worse with exercise. As a freshman in college at 18 y.o, I thought I merely needed to eat stuff after a workout to refuel. I figured that as long as it wasn't junk food (e.g. cake, donuts, candy, etc) and if I really worked up a good sweat during the workout, I was OK to eat what I…

Sorry if this has been said before, but I'm a bit weirded out by "toe socks" -- that's all. Carry on, everyone.

Lunch: sauteed kale, seasoned with berbere, onions, and a belly-flop splash of hot sauce.

@NovemberGirl65, I thought this was a thread celebrating the return of roundness to your backside. Since many women post about losing their butts with weight loss, I was curious to read about how you were able to find yours. I guess I misunderstood the title. Still, since I'm here, I figured I may as well say hello. " The…

Interesting story, @vikinglander. Did you kill him?

Take a number.

Mixing outs with coffee sounds strangely delicious. I think I'll give that a try.

Nutritionfacts.org for the win! I found out about that site while watching a documentaries on Netflix this past weekend. Dr. Greger was interviewed on 2 of the 3. I think I'm close to taking a similar path as well. Good luck with the change @motiv8ed2motiv8.

Every morning, I have a generous portion of this.

Welcome to the club, @NowItsTime4Change. The good news is that you're in good company. Many here (raising hand) have experienced the same. Congratulations on deciding to do something about it. Now comes the group hug ... We're here for ya. Time to kick some butt!
-
I'm hoping to be able to say the same soon. In the meantime, it's stories like this that inspire me to press forward. Great job @Cbaka27 !

Chalk definitely helps keep bars in place. If your gym staff is concerned about the mess, there is a liquid chalk option available >>>…

I began to "awesome" all of the results photos, but my emotions couldn't handle it. There's so much inspiration here. Way to go, y'all!
