The author of this thread hasnt logged on in almost 1.5 years. That could be proof that the reason wasnt enough. The only true way to be a LTWC (long term weight controller) is to be mindful and love yourself enough. MFP is an essential tool in this to keep yourself accountable but if it's a struggle to stick to a "diet"…

I want to be vaccinated with Pfizer. Hey cool, I got that today !!!
-
I think this is probably not a real person if they want to lose weight from there. I gotta call bull#$%% on this post
-
Our bodies are designed to be omnivorous not herbivorous
-
I got 2 good friends from this post. Thanks
-
Omg, I'd turn that FR down in a heartbeat. God Forbid
-
Just combat it with shitloads of walking, headphones on, listen to an audiobook. Much better than music because audiobooks keep your mind concentrating on the book and not the walking.
-
Nope. What a stupid post. Kindergarten?
-
I'm up for a few more friends if anyone wants to add me

I find when I stop logging everything I get lazy. One day I'm not logging lettuce, the next day maybe a bread bun and it soon becomes "hey it's just a 6 pack of beer. No need to log the 900 calories" and it can quickly set me back a couple of weeks
-
Argh. Phone typo
-
My understanding is that targeted weight loss is a myth. Most fat I lose is belly fat simply because that's where my fat is

Only when you leave - Spandau Ballet
-
Someone who logs in first time May 2015 and stays for a few weeks and is never seen again. So I would say "someone not committed to MFP"

Me...I love small boobs. That's all I need in life and my wife's are perfect !!!

27 km/hr average. Good speed. Road bike or mountain bike? I only use my mountain bike now because it gives me a better workout. For me over 43 minutes best I could average is around 22 km/hr

I assume your calorie goal is 500 under to lose 1 lb per week? It so then you are still under your output so you are better off after today than you were before today. Think of it as if you are running toward a pot of gold. Today you walked toward it but you still got closer
-
Thanks Mini. You're right I need to get into that habit
-
You can ask google anything to do with calories in anything. Google will give answers for most…

When I used fitbit and walked it was giving me a burn of 12 cal/min which is ridiculous. My true burn for 1 km at 12 min/km is 75 calories. Fitbit was giving me 144 per km. I would suggest logging your exercises manually with corrected calorie burn if that's possible. It's easy if you know the distance and you are walking…

I like daily weigh ins. At first it's weird because of the fluctuation but now I can read the fluctuations and have confidence that I am still losing weight. Also I find it keeps me honest and accountable after a cheat day
