I've been off MFP for a while. Anyone on this thread get off you *kitten* and add me. 😅

Sounds like you're on the right track. And its definitely not over.

All good info. Maybe change up your routine a little. You also said something about starting to exercise. What type are you doing?

You're doing great!

I'm following The Wild Diet, similar to a paleo diet. Not sure if that's what you're looking for but it works for me.

I've been recently diagnosed with spinal stenosis and it's brutal at times. I'm still able to exercise some but not near as much as before. Therefore, I've had to be much stricter with my diet. Following The Wild Diet, sort of a modified paleo diet and it works for me.

16 pounds since December is awesome! I also have major limitations. Always been very active, was diagnosed a few months ago with lumbar spinal stenosis. It can be quite debilitating at times. I can lift but not heavy and have to avoid certain exercises. Can't walk very far as pain gets too severe. Thankfully, I can still…

I don't know if this helps but I've started the Wild Diet by Abel James. It's similar to paleo but not as restrictive. Under this eating plan, I don't have to count calories. However, I've been counting them lately just to get an idea of how many I'm taking in. According to Abel, counting calories doesn't work. This fits…

I just started the Wild Diet by Abel James, has a podcast called fatburningman.com. It's very similar to paleo but not nearly as restrictive. I haven't cut out sugar completely but I'm close. Check out his website or podcasts. Might give you some good ideas. If you have anything sweet on this plan, it's sweetened with…

Of course I would.

Anyone can add me. Yes, its hard. If it wasn't, there wouldn't be a need for sites like this. Don't just think of the big goal, start with a small one like lose 5 lbs. or log in for 2 weeks without missing a day, etc.

A strength and conditioning coach told me one time that just about any program will work, the key is finding something that you can stick with. I can't stick with something like sugar free, paleo, etc. as it's just too restricting and makes you feel like a failure if you venture off at all. Sounds like you're on the right…

Stop at Dreamland Barbecue in Tuscaloosa, AL after a great day of mtn. Biking. Really well known in Tide Country.

I can relate. I have spinal stenosis which is often painful and I battle fatigue constantly. Like someone else suggested, look at your sleep patterns, maybe blood work. And don't exercise for an hour five days in a row unless you've built up to it. I'm 56 with back pain, arthritis, etc. Some days I can go hard but I vary…

Add me and I can help you get back on track. Also, try to eat the basic stuff like chicken, vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc. I try to stay away from boxed foods, reduced fat, gluten free, etc. There are some great recipes online that are easy. Limit soft drinks, Gatorade, alcohol, etc. Do you have an exercise program? Stay…

Don't feel a need to explain yourself. And if someone is rude or you don't like them, don't talk to them. If all else fails, tell'em to kiss your *kitten*. :D
